the cash back rate is excellent, but the catch is $2500 quarter cap, that's entirely way too low. great afford from BOA, but it fails to pull me over from chase and amex.

what card do you think is better Bank of America premium rewards or united explorer card? both have a $95 AF come with a TSA-PRE CHECK credit ? united gives you a free checked bag which is nice but the bank of america card gives you 100 Airline Incidental Statement Credit which can be used for a checked bag?

Do you think this setup is still worth it when you factor in that bank of America cash rewards cards do not have purchase protection? I could be mistaken but the last time I checked no bank of america cash rewards card do not provide any time of purchase protection (I'm pretty sure return protection and extended warranty are also not available)
How is it a $15 effective annual fee?
No mention of Cap One Venture 100000 K offer and that these are transferable currency.
AmEx had a charitable card in Great Britain, the Red card. I would have added that in a second if they had had it here. $3 is worthless. This should be a flat 3% on everything direct to the charity.

As I told you, BoA canceled my credit cards for no reason. I started banking with them in 2004. Out of 30+ credit cards, none have done that to me before.

I can see this set up being very profitable if you value cash back. It makes sooo much sense. That said, I find MR and UR more valuable for travel. Cash back won't get me to my travel goals the way MR and UR do. I also put 100% value to lots of Amex offers. Its an intangible/wild card that many ignore.

Nice!!! I just got approved for the BofA Cash Rewards Secured on the 15th after exactly 1 month. I was denied and so I got reconsidered! And received my card this past Monday. Haven't used it yet. But I'm excited to earn 2% on grocery stores and 3% online. Which was previously 1% for me! Although I don't have a relationship with bank of america. And I don't plan too. I'm happy with discover banking!
I recently got the Susan B Komen card as well during COVID lockdown. It's actually my 4th cash rewards card… I had the red one, a MLB one, and a WWF one, and now added the Susan B Komen card… I am planning to also convert my Alaska Airlines card to a 5th one, the US Pride one once its annual fee hits. I love this cash back setup!

il get into BOA once i get into 100k plus. right now will be using 4%us bank go card on dining, 2%citi double cash and 2%paypal for travel.. citi costco just for gas now
