I got mine approved live at the branch, the hard inquiry only knock 1 point from my credit score. 95 annual fee waived if you apply at the branch.

Great bonus unfortunately the bonus is pretty much the ONLY reason to get this card. Chase needs to freshen it up.
I’m currently down bad, my 2 credit one cards are sent to collections , so is my PayPal credit. My 2 capital one cards are owed as well I haven’t made a payment in a couple months. Experian fico score is 492. Went from 700 to 492. Can I still build my credit with a secured card while I still owe ?
Can I downgrade my sapphire card that I've had for 3 years and reapply for it to claim the new 80k reward?

Wish it was 6 months instead of 3… kinda of hard for me to spend that much. Probably gonna get the Amex gold since it's giving 6 months for $4k in spend.

I'm under 5/24 for another year I think, or at least until January, perhaps November. Not sure if it would be worth trying to apply at a branch, but I'm also struggling to see how I could make that $4000 of spend even if I applied and got approved.

I'm very new to this. Currently I have the Sapphire Reserve and I've had it for 2 years. Am I pretty much out of luck as far as getting the 80,000 Preferred bonus because I would have to wait another 2 years before I would qualify for any additional Sapphire card bonus? I would also imagine that card bonuses aren't available for downgrades.
