AX sucks. Only 1 mile per $1. Plus annual fee. I only enter the club once because the connections are so close all the time.
I recently got my Freedom upgraded to Visa Signature so I'm keeping it as is. I'll forward a new application for the promo cash on the Flex.
If you have freedom, just get freedom unlimited. You get same new benefit from unlimited, and freedom is a visa, no need to change to flex.
I just received a letter in the mail from Chase its pertaining to CHASE FREEDOM VISA PLATINUM account. Is that the same as CHASE FREEDOM MASTERCARD?

They told me on the phone today if you have both the freedom card that you cant get the other cards. So you have to choose one freedom card if you want the others

the freedom unlimited also has some changes coming 9/13, and the new rotating categories for the freedom are announced 9/15

I have the trifecta of Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Freedom and Chase Freedom Unlimited. Been debating changing Freedom –> Freedom Flex but the main benefit (that I've read) is I get cellphone protection with the tradeoff is that I'm losing a VISA card since the Flex is a Mastercard. All other benefits of the Flex overlap with Unlimited so it might not be worth it to switch from Freedom to Flex.
Also, the new 5% on travel through Chase Rewards (Flex && Unlimited) is not worth it since the Travel Insurance/Rental Insurance is not worth giving up if you have a Sapphire Preferred/Reserve.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a place in the US where MasterCard is accepted, and not Visa. Is that common in certain foreign countries?
I think its a bad thing. There might be a catch to the benefits as well. The benefits are way too good to be true for a no annual fee. How are they covering all the benefits if they have no annual fee? They would lose money unless everyone banks with chase.
Gonna wait on this Flex card too and see what they are going to do with the Sapphire lineup. I'm predicting they'll announce that next…sooner than later.
I've been here waiting for my Preferred to be eligible for PC in December totally forgetting my FUL was already eligible. to change to the Freedom now… that's for the video! Probably going to PC the Saphire to the FUL to avoid the annual fee since I don't travel, I'm Team Cashback since I am paying off debt.
Will probably get the Flex later for the bonus, feel bummed I didn't have slots for the Freedom bonus. But I do get alot of CB from my BCP and Amazon card….UBER was just a bad play…

Sebby, I opened my both business and personal both checking and saving account at chase about 2 months ago and my fico is 650. With current pandemic situation when would you recommend for someone like me to apply for chase credit card? With so many options and plus new flex chase card which one do you have junk I should apply for and should I apply now or wait until my score reaches 700. PAYPAL QUESTION: Is it possible to use a PAYPAL card debt card, and have this Chase flex loaded into your paypal account. So when you use the PP card. It will draw from the loaded credit CHASE FLEX card. ( getting 5%)? any ideas on how to maximize on this?
You have incorrect information @4:44. Per the TPG website, "Flex is considered a different product from Freedom Unlimited, so customers with that latter card will also be eligible for a welcome bonus with Flex. And Chase has confirmed that the same is true for Freedom cardholders — if they apply (and are approved) for the new Freedom Flex, they will be eligible for the bonus."

@sebby best two things this has: grubhub rewards (who does not need that this year) and cell phone insurance, I was actually looking to product change my slate from the 90s I keep as a base card and those 2 things were perfect, not that the cash back things are not great, my personal list of what cards to use for what things now says this card for almost everything
I don't think I have ever come across a place that accepts credit that wouldn't accept a visa. Im not even finding places that don't accept amex any more.
I'll definitely won't get this one As I've already got a Freedom and Unlimited Card, now if I could get the signup hell yeah.
Capital One shot me down for the quicksilver as I had two many new credit lines.
Only picked up my AMX for the 3% grocery for 6 months and 200 signup but they didn't honor it so its a little bit of a wash.

I’ve tried the reconsideration line with chase 2 times already and every time I’m very friendly, talk about how I love chase benefits and points system. Every time the rep is very nice and we talk and I explain to them why I would be a good fit and how I’m an au on another chase account but they always put my info in and say the system denies me because of my BK from 2 years ago! What is going on? I have 689 score, cap1 card $3,300 limit, discover it card $6,000 limit, always pay off full, no collections. What is going on?

This is better than the sapphire. The only advantage sapphire has is the primary on car rentals. Otherwise it beats it.

Is it a good idea to get the Freedom Flex for the spend $500 for $200 cash back, and then apply for the Freedom Unlimited for the same spend $500 for $200 and then transfer to the CSP/CSR?
I'd like to mention that I noticed you can get 9x back at groceries this quarter if you are new to the card. I bought a $300 gift card to Best Buy from my local grocery store and on the UR portal the math they did was 1 (base)+4 (quarterly bonus category)+4(intro grocery bonus) = 9
