Amex cards for purchase protection (or get a new card for new bonus) 😁🙌
I have secured second place for life.😩
You don’t recommend a card with purchase protection? ie. platinum.
I preordered one this morning and totally overlooked PayPal. 😡. On the bright side, I used an Amex gold, which has great purchase protection.
🙌🏾
If you want Amex Points, another option would be the Amex Business Gold Card for 4x at apple, or the Rakuten VISA via Best Buy for 4x (1x+3x) on cell phones at Best Buy. If I didnt already have the Business Gold Card, I might think about opening the Business Gold, getting the signup bonus plus 4x MR points… The other advantage of the Business Gold card is for purchase protections.
I actually preordered an iphone12 this morning, was going to use the Business Gold but decided to opt for the Hilton Surpass because the end of the calendar year is coming up and I want to try to close on getting the free night certificate for $15k spend in a calendar year… Points earning on the Surpass isnt great, just 3x Hilton Points, but as an Amex, it still has the purchase protections.
Don't forget, Apple users, that you also qualify for disability and handicap parking.
Considering purchasing a new iphone with my UR points at 1.25% value (CSP) but there are no iPhones available in the UR apple store right now. Can buy pretty much any apple product with points (macbooks, ipads, etc.) EXCEPT iPhones. Any word on that?
Surprised you are not going in with Samsung to unlock the US BANK altitude reserve card for 3X points at all in person transactions with Samsung Pay. That being said, I am a iPhone sheep and will go for the iPhone 12 Pro Max for its camera.
Excellent options. I’m getting the new iPhone but waiting for the ProMax. I will be paying for it with my iTunes balance that I loaded up during the 10x on streaming from the CSR. Was going to get the new phone anyway and picked up 15k UR in the process.
For those with the Citi Prestige, it’s currently offering 5x on streaming up 7,500 TYPs.
I’ve tested it and iTunes reloads do trigger the 5x. So one could load up their iTunes balance at $1,500 and scoop up 7,500 TYPs in the process. I’ve already done it and will be using that balance on a new Apple Watch 6.
US cashback + looks so good!!! 5% + $200 off upon completing $500 purchase! I just want to buy the pro just for this deal but I'm content with my iPhone Max xs. Great work Dustin. Gotta control my impulses, instead I think I'll buy $1200 in Apple stocks. Is there a way to buy stocks on credit card to fulfill the rewards part? Are there any stock platforms that allow CC for stock purchase?
Im not a US resident so I only have Bofa credit cards at the moment. I will probably use American Airlines shopping portal and my Cash Rewards Gold for a 3,75 cash back for online purchases
For those of us that use devices other than Apple, what is the best shopping portal for Google products?
I thought you would go for the Best Buy Visa.
Just commenting for the algorithm: am I the only one who wants iPhone/phone sizes in general to return to smaller sizes like the 4/4s/3GS? I like putting additional things in my pocket other than just my phone lol.
Audio quality > video quality.
You are so spot on!!!
Or if you want to save 100% on your purchase, you can just opt to not buy the new iphone
5.4" 60hz screen for $700? Hell no! (my bad) We all know you're getting the 12 Pro.
I shoot all of my videos on Instagram and YouTube on my iPhone X. Pretty good results I think.
Dustin, if photo/video quality is the most important, you gotta go 12 pro max. Imagine your videos with Dolby vision support! 😝
actually its the amex plat if ur iphone disappears u save 1k 😉
This is very comprehensive but I might prefer going with a card that has good purchase protection like chase business ink cash. CFF is limited to 500 per claim over 120 days while CIC has a limit that will cover the full cost of the phone. And can you expense that iPhone if used for your channel?
Waiting on Silicon Arm Macs in November and put on my Apple Card financing & building credit and relationships with Goldman Sachs & Apple.
If you're among the Apple faithful, it's worth taking a look at the Apple Card. The card, issued by Goldman Sachs, reserves its best rewards for Apple purchases and transactions made using Apple Pay, which makes it less of a physical card than it is an incentive program for using Apple's proprietary technology.
Does AMEX Businss Gold get you 4X on buying from Apple for the category of purchasing made directly from select technology providers of computer hardware, software, and cloud solution?
Another very solid video. Thanks Dustin. Not looking at iPhone, but do have about $1,800 in purchases coming in the next 2 months. Looking for a good SUB.
So if I use PayPal key that will trigger the 5% bonus for the Freedom Flex? Has anyone got any dp for this
Great video thank you so much. You just helped me decide where I want to apply for a credit card first. I didn’t think the Apple card was the best for Apple products.
is it me or does the video skip or pauses every few seconds (im watching on a pc)
This is a good topic, Dustin, thank you. 😀 I pre-ordered the iPhone 12 Pro yesterday. I’m trying out Apple Card monthly installments with instant trade-in credit. I’m definitely an Apple fanboy. It seems like the Apple Card giving 3% cash rewards plus 0% APR financing at any time—not just for an introductory period—is still a pretty good deal, even if it may not be the absolute best at any given time. But I will see what I think of it over time.
When I signed up for PayPal Key I thought I read in the fine print that you ONLY get what PayPal gives you for protections/insurances, NOT what the credit card you put as the actual payment method behind it gives you. Is this correct?
Lol, you use fiat and Apple. How do those boots taste?
@Waller's Wallet Hear me out but the best deal I found is 1% cash back on my cell phone bill. For the freedom flex and some other cards you get cell phone insurance if you use the card for your cell bill. Read the fine print though, you need to lease the phone from your cell company. I have a message in to see if buying the phone from apple would work (by a strict reading it would be ok but there might be another clause that says it is not ok). The last time I upgraded my phone I was just going to buy it outright …. but found out it was 0% financing so I was actually saving money over the 2 years.
Almost at 13,000 subscribers! Keep up the great work! Take care and keep the family safe Dustin!
Does apple.com code as "electronics store" if you use the US Bank Cash Plus? "Apple Store" could be limited to mean only the B&M Apple Stores.
I have them all and this is a decent card.
