Venmo just launched a dynamic 3%/2%/1% credit card. The marketing doesn’t include the very fine print where there is an annual spend limit of $10,000 in your combined 3% and 2% spend categories each membership year.

Do you think they will offer a sign up bonus anytime soon?
Yeah, HM Bradley please
I would only get this for bills and utilities cuz I can’t think of any CC that allows % cash back it. Even though the terms can change at any time.
X1 credit card update ?? Is it still happening ?
Bravo! Very nice job on the video. 👍🏻
I wanted this card to pay my monthly health insurance and maybe a one time payment of car insurance every 6 months.
Will the health insurance, Car Insurance payment be considered under Health, Bill & Utilities categories respectively and get a return of 3% cashback or will it be considered among others and only earn 1% cashback?
If its the former then it makes sense to get this card or otherwise the PayPal Cashback Card makes more sense in this scenario as it gives 2% cashback
Thank you in advance!
The venmo credit card has 9 spend categories. One of the spend categories is "Others". Purchases at a physical Walmart Supercenter doesnt fall into the "Grocery" category. Does it fall under the "Other" category? If yes, will it give 3% cash back if my top spend is at the Walmart Supercenter?
Can you get 3X back using it on Ebay?
I got a intro bonus of spend 1000 get 200 for this card ✌🏻
The breakdown and comparisons with other cards is great. Thank you!
They’re now offering $100 if you spend $1k within 6 months!
I just got a double cashback offer. So instead of 3% it’s 6%, 2% to 4% and everything else is now 2%
Hey do you know if rent is included in the bills and utilities category? I can pay my rent with a credit card for a 2.95% fee so with the current double cash back offer will decrease my rent by 3.05% and they have made it unlimited till the end of the year
Why isn't anyone talking about Venmo's new promo?
What about using Venmo CC to pay rent/ mortgage? Is the cash back – the fees worth it?
I just wonder if I will still have to pay a 3% fee for having a credit card as default payment for the app, despite it being a Venmo credit card. I also wonder if my rent payments within the app will be categorized as bills and utilities. Only thing holding me back since I can't find an answer for this
Nice
Hey! So does this card have the same offers as the Venmo Debit card?
I'm commenting from Oct 2021. I'm reading the fine print again and it seems like they removed the $10k spend cap for 2% and 3% categories? Seems like a better deal to me. However, since then Citi also released their custom cash, which seems like an even better dynamic categories card at 5% (althought monthly $500 limit)
