Great video Dustin! I've been wanting to check out Acorns for a while to see what its really all about. Sounds like it could be a nice option for some people but there's certainly some other better options out there

I tried Acorns, and it was too slow in processing my daily investments. It'd take days or over a week to complete. Switched to Fidelity because I like my purchases being processed not too long after the market closes. You can also have money available to trade immediately while the brokerage waits for your money to transfer completely from your bank account. The $1 a month fee for Acorn was also a deterrent.

I had no idea Acorns had a robo advisor… just a questionnaire and 5 levels of investing.

I tried it once but it didn't work with either of my bank accounts. I'm not the kind of person that needs acorns. But I thought I would do it for a while Just to have some data to show friends that would need or can take advantage of it and I showed them how much they can invest or whatever by doing that. For the round up feachers of course.

Your reviews are the best man. I've seen other review videos and they don't stack up. I'm gonna pass on Acorns. Thanks for this one. Take care and keep moving forward!

Acorn is overrated. A monthly fee for Roth IRAs and taxable brokerage accounts. Also their aggressive portfolio underperforms a simple 2-fund portfolio like VTI/VXUS, SCHB/SCHF, or ITOT/IXUS.
