Why I would want the Amex gold? I have the Chase freedom unlimited and I got 3x on dining and drug stores, 5x on flights and 1.5x on everything else, + no anual fee. I don’t use any of the benefits that the Amex offers

I tried preapproval on Chase, WF, Discover , and Citi today. I was rejected in all of them, currently have a 3 month old credit score 691 (I Am a foreigner). I preapproved for the gold and was approved. I should be getting it by feb 27th .

I am seriously considering the Amex Gold as I am an advertiser who spends quite a lot on marketing already, but my only concern is if there is any notable differences in regards to being a Canadian that you know of?
