The accountant in me loves this discussion. I have done a balance transfer before but right now I don’t need one. I love that you mentioned to pay attention to the APR and interest vs the balance transfer fee.

These are some great pro tips. Debt can snowball quick. I've transferred balances because of lower interest rates and it was always a win win with a better card and opportunity. You have to search which card works best for you.

I've got just over a 670 credit score with a high balance on a CC – I'm afraid of lowering my credit score by being denied by a credit card company. Should I be worried or should I just go for it? The interest on my card is killing me.

I keep reading that the Citi Double Cash back card requires you to have 700+ credit score. How likely are we to get approve if we have some debt? Also what credit score do you recommend to have for the US bank credit card? Thank you!
