Congrats!! 😀. I have this card. Easy MSR. I was instantly approved when I applied last month.
If you're able to link this card with Mint and/or Personal Capital let me know how please. So far I haven't been able to get it to work.
AA: “we’re shutting down accounts for misuse”
WW: turns cam on “the smell of more free travel”
Just received the citi version. Love your channel
Got denied for this card 3 months ago and was shamed by Barclays for having too many cards. Didn't really care but got the Citi version. You should do a comparison between Barclays and Citi version of AAdvantage cards. Good job Dustin.
Almost impossible to get this card. I have concluded that barclays only gives cards to the 33 and not to humans. Only humanITy gets barclays not humans. I’ve tried for two years running and it’s still a no go. Got every other card I’ve applied for business cards. Not this one.
Thanks once again 4 another GREAT Thorough review ! My wife and I fly American more than any other airline. We have considered one of the Barclays cards during this past year, but decided to wait until after our Chase card setup was complete. LOL! We usually fly economy so those baggage fees are a very disappointing add on to our travel budget! LOL! We may have to rethink our new application strategy during 2020 because we currently have potentially
five American Airlines flight planned.
Congratulations on the new card man! This was an excellent unboxing and review video and I liked the different scenery. You hit every point on the card and was nicely done. I think that sign up bonus is great for the requirements but the earning rates are not stellar. What card is your business workhorse card? I am guessing it's an Ink card.
My only Barclays card is the Uber (soon rebranding to Poo-ber) card.
Its strange that for that AAdvantage card, they make people jump through so many hoops for the privilege of having $95 stolen from you every year.
Hi Dustin,
Great info on the card. Liked the outside background, but a bit too much movement for me, was getting dizzy. 🤪 I have the Sliver version AF$195, 3 pt for spent on AA, 50%off food and drinks on the plane, Free bags up to 8 peeps. Also got the personal version of the red card. Got free companion certificate after spending $1.00. AF $99 not waved in the first year.
Too many applications? Were you over 6/24?
I just applied for the Jet Blue business card and I was given that same message that they will call me to ask more questions. So there must be hope for me. I better get ready.
What sup Waller! Great job on the video. Just applied and got the same message as you. Can't wait to get grilled by them in a few days. As Lil Wayne would say it "I don't walk around fire expecting not to sweat".🤣
Just curious since I’m considering this card: are you worried about an AA clawback for canceling after year one?
Hey bro, had a question. I'm interested in applying for both cards simply for the sign up bonuses. Would both sign up bonus miles accrue jointly under one AA mileage account #? Or would these bonuses be under different mileage numbers because they are provided by different banks? Love your vids, man. Thanks so much
So it's just a churner card, sad.
This is glorious, I been tryin to find out about "vendors to build business credit" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across – Vansaiah Meylijah Domination – (search on google ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my co-worker got great results with it.
Downgrade path? I saw a video where there was one for the personal version
Interesting, I'm thinking of switching more loyalty from Delta to American. I would be willing to spend 30K, as long as I could get at least 2% back in value. No doubt I'm going to have my Wyndham-Barcley interrogation coming soon…
I think this week be my next card. I'm going to try to apply next month as a sole prop. Fingers crossed.
Would this one affect your 5/24 chase rule ???
Does this card report on the personal credit or just the business? Anyone have any answers after having this card?
do they report to Dun& Brad or experian?
one of the advantage of AA is the number of flights from various airports across the country, you can get the barclays jetblue plus or chase united but these airlines only fly on fewer routes compared to AA
will get this card in a few months, thanks for the video
Same thing just happened to me, I applied, app pending and then they called me about 5 days later. Sounds like you got grilled a more than I did. The woman said that another department would be calling me in a few days and she wanted to see if it was ok if they moved some of my credit line from a personal card I rarely use to this card so I told her to move $5000. That has already been done so I think that means I’ll be approved.
