You forgot to mentioned BOA Custom Rewards, you can pick Online shopping as your 3% category. If you have money with BOA you will get more than 3% depending of your investments with BOA. Same case with gas if it it picked as 3% category. For non category, the Capital Venture X will give you 2X in all purchase that can be redeemed in the travel portal or cash. The Freedom Unlimited is algo good option for non category spend, if you transfer the point to the sapphire and redeem as 1.25, then you will get 1.88% back that is pretty decent. Nice video. Thanks

Another good non category spend card is the Amex Blue Business Plus with 2 X MR points back for everything up to 50,000 dollars of spend per year. And there is no Annual fee either

I’ll be using my Freedom Flex this weekend at Walmart for groceries but once my statement closes and a new billing period starts for my Discover it I’ll just use it for groceries at my local Wegmans and checkout using Apple Pay to earn 5% back at my preferred grocery store.

The gas stations near me are equipped with tap to pay readers, so that falls into the Discover It quarterly category for me. Many gas chains also allow you to pay in their app via either digital wallet or PayPal.

Great video as usual! Just want to clarify one small thing in case anyone is looking to apply. The USB Altitude Connect has no annual fee for the 1st year, then $95 afterwards. Thanks for the great content!

Amex Blue Business Plus is best for non-category spend which earns 2x MR points on everything.

Paypal was the last quarters 5% cash back for Discover. It doesn't work this quarter

I cant bring myself to get the amex gold card. The statement credit offerings are completely useless to me. I'd essentially be spending $240 per year on gift cards to places i dont even go to

Still don’t know why you aren’t honest with your viewers to share you can get 3% off Everything with the Paceline Visa card. Also 5% at Walgreens/CVS and athletic brands like Lululemon.

Freedom flex has Walmart in this quarter, so you can also go to a walmart gas station to get 5%. Along with the bonus gas 5% back.

Thank you for hitting up US Bank Cash + for Utilities….no one talks about that category….why pay 100% for your water/energy/gas (for the house/grill) when you can pay 95% with no annual fee!!!! My second category is usually the 5% on Cell Phone Providers…for same premise

I still think the Abound CU Platinum Visa is worth a mention as while it's a credit union card it's still easy for virtually anyone to get, and it has permanent uncapped 5% cashback on gas in addition to quarterly 5% categories (this quarter it's Amazon).

Do you need a Sam’s Club membership to use the Walmart+ gas benefit at Sam’s fuel centers?

For non-category spend, I honestly think the best card is the PayPal Cashback Mastercard. ESPECIALLY if you do a lot of online purchases! CFF might be kind of PayPal this quarter, but afterward, 3% back on all PayPal transactions is gonna be a godsend!

I never shop at Walmart so I guess that makes that decision easy. And don't worry about the economy everything will be all right. I remember the '70s when you only could pump gas on certain days of the week. I seen home interest rates in the mid teens. I have also seen elevated unemployment.
The stock market was overvalued to begin with.
All in all I think we're doing pretty good considering that we were hit with the perfect storm

Card #1: Citi Custom Cash… Card #2: Citi Custom Cash… Card #3: Citi Custom Cash… jk jk jk 😂 Honestly though a lot of similar videos continuously ONLY recommend the Citi Custom Cash for every spending category since it gives you 5% back in your highest spend category every month, butI always really appreciate that you provide us a wide range of cards that we may not be super familiar with, so thank you for that! This was a great video as always Ben!

Best card for gas from Oct 1st through Dec 31st could be the Amazon Prime credit card if you get the targeted offer. I received this offer for 10% cash back for Q4 on the Prime card and have verified that I am earning 10% Amazing deal.
