I have but one card which gives me such access and that card so happens to be the AMEX Platinum Charles Schwab and I freaking love it. I travel internationally just about every other month and nothing has changed the way I view going to the airport like having lounge access. Since finding your channel some years back I have gone from a FICO of 595 with TransUnion to a 781. I went from being intimidated by the cashier at Old Navy asking if I wanted to sign up for their credit card to debating weather or not I want to splurge and apply for that sexy new Delta Reserve card made from the airplane metal😂. I’ve helped dozens of family members and friends with their credit and they always heap praise on me but in reality they owe it all to the Credit Shifu🙌🏽
Yes please
The Delta Gold is no longer allowed to buy day passes as of 1/30/2020. The Delta Platinum ($250 AF) is the one that still allows the $39 day passes.
Awesome video Ben! I love the fact that you included a ton of cards I hadn't even heard of before… it makes lounges seem more accessible than I previously thought. In the future, I am planning on getting a more luxury card, so until then, no lounge access for me! Although it'll give me something to look forward to when I travel more which is nice.
Ben, can you do a video about the best cards with the most sign-on bonuses? I am going to travel in September and I want a credit card to apply for.
Hey Ben, thinking of applying for the Delta Gold right now. Do you think with a credit score of 720, history of 7 months, and a good income would be enough to get approved? Thanks
Hey guys, my bad, we put the Delta Gold in this instead of the Delta Platinum, when we are speaking about the Delta Gold, just substitute that with the Delta Platinum
The Alaska Air visa is practically worthless for lounge access now that they don’t let you buy day passes anymore in ANC, SEA, or PDX. If you intend to get this card, know that the only real benefits are the companion fare and free checked bag. I don’t even buy my Alaska tickets on it anymore since the Amex Platinum has 5x on airfare, far better than the 3x on the Alaska card (which also lacks travel insurance on purpose so you’ll pay for it at checkout).
Venture X.
So Ben, your use of the Priority Pass (via Chase Sapphire Reserve) you ruined it for all of us. 😄
Please do a fuel card! Best for a fuel card around USA im a Truck driver and i need the best one i can get
I bought a day pass a few weeks ago at the fancy Alaska Lounge by the N Gates at SeaTac. Unfortunately, I was there on one of the last days that they sell day passes at many of the main Alaska Airlines Airports. (SEA, PDX, ANC) Now if you want to get into the Alaska Lounge, you need a first class ticket or an annual lounge pass, which I believe costs $450. The credit card no longer helps with lounge access. Huge bummer as the Alaska card was the first travel card I ever got.
Lufthansa is pronounced luft·han·zuh
Don't forget if you have Hilton diamond u can gift Hilton gold status to a friend
re Hilton Surpass . . . wondering how many of the passes can one use in one shot? ie. could I gain entry for me and nine of my friends who are traveling together? 😁
This is exactly the video that I was looking for last night and then you made it today!!
LAS Centurion was fantastic, just visited last week.
Do a video for best hotel cards
Amex platinum is definitely my choice
Hi! I’m someone’s authorized user and this person makes their minimum payment but usage is high. Is it okay to be removed? Or will it hurt me because there is a balance?
No Gold card access ?? For Lounge access
Reduce one is the best card
