About 5 years ago you did a video where a perk of the platinum card is you could have up to 99 gold cards for family members. Do you know if that's still a perk? Not 99 but you can get a gold card?

Reminder pay balances in full in order to get the rewards. You don't get rewards if the balance is not paid in full by due date

I was excited till I heard saxs and the other stores and Amex platinum mentioned lol. None of those places would ever see me set foot in. Am very doubtful I would ever get an Amex platinum. I don't see how shopping at the stores mentioned and using the credit cards mentioned would yield me 18% back. If I were to get an Amex platinum, would value the points at 0.6 cents per point. Maybe others would find value there. For me, Rakuten app combined with newly opened discover card and using samsung pay would give the closest to 18% cash back. I was hoping for a new card that would be worth going for. I'm sure you're joking about spending $57 on a pair of socks at the store.

So much good info! I almost need to watch this all over again and take notes! I love Rakuten, and you took it to another level by pairing it with credit cards to spend with! Great video!

I don’t see a way to redeem Rakuten cash back in Chase points. I went to the Rakuten website and I only see check, PayPal, or AmEx Membership Rewards points. But in the video, Ben implied you can redeem them for Chase points too. Does anyone know how to do that? Thanks.

Cashback stacking can definitely provide you a TON of value on your holiday spend. Credit cards are just one part of that stack, but they help get you a good part of the way there, that's for sure. Thanks for sharing all this Ben!
