⛽ I'm currently using the bonus gas benefit on the Amazon card. I need a dedicated gas card, but I'm focusing on Chase cards early game atm

⛽I got very excited when you said, "The first card is probably one that you've never heard of…" Thought you were going to mention the most underrated 5% gas card, the Sears SYW Mastercard. Just got an email telling me one of my targeted offers extended for another 3 months, so I am once again getting $295 in easily obtainable statement credits for June. 😁

To answer your last question, I think gas prices will drop in the fall. If not, then Sears better keep sending me these amazing targeted offers to combat it!👊

I going for the Citi Custom in Summer

I personally have been reacting to the markets, inflation, and interest rates by living more within my means.
I could be spending about $60 in gas a week or $240 in a month.
With winter comes the cold, as many still use gas for heating, so I feel the prices will rise.

Can you do a video on business cards for gas too because some of us need to fuel multiple cars. For me, I have to fuel almost 10 different cars a week (but I don’t do a full fill up because it’s almost $7 a gallon). Would any of the chase ink cards be useful for me?

Hello Sebby. First off I love your videos. I wanted to ask you a question about which CC should I go for next. I'm new to the CC awards pts and am looking to build up my aspirational travel CC pts. I have the CSR, Venture X, and Amex Platinum for my tier 4 CC cards. I am wondering what CC should I go for next? Should I go for a hotel CC, the Citi Custom Cash, or the Amex Gold? In regards to Chase, I am currently at 4/24 so I have 1 slot left if I choose to go with a Chase CC. What would you get in my situation?

penfed has a 5% cashback card on gas as well but you can't get that reward back as statement credit…That was a downer 🙁 The hilton surpass/hilton business cards have 6 point back on gas but I think its valued at a little over 3% return

With the current prices I’ll probably spend about $150-$160 a month. Filling up every two weeks. Using ethanol free gas in my Subaru crosstrek.

I drive a 1 ton diesel truck, I pay about $260-$400 per month depending. That's 2 full ups per month, 60-70 gallons of diesel. I use citi custom cash!

Penfed platinum is great for gas, groceries, Walmart, and restaurant. You can get 95:100 redemption instead of 1 cent per point for gift cards for many retailers and restaurants.

BP Visa CC 15 cents off per gallon, while nice these gas prices are ridiculous!

⛽️🚗 Increased gas prices are biting into my bottom line, however I haven't noticed a difference in my discretionary spending. If anything, I've spent more on eating out and grocery items that I want, as opposed to basic necessities.

With credit cards, I'm looking to apply for the Citi Custom Cash in the winter. Right now, the Gas category is being filled by the Discover it for the remainder of Q2 and a Chase Freedom Unlimited sign up bonus of 5% back on gas (up to $6000 spent) in the first 12 months from account opening. CFU was a new account this year, still got a few months to go on the sign up bonus

I picked up the Chase Freedom Unlimited earlier this year while part of the intro bonus was (in addition to their usual $200 after the first $500 in spend) 5x on gas for the first 12 months of having the card. It's going to be my go-to gas card this summer. Monthly spend at current prices where I live is about $200 a month. ⛽

My car is currently sitting at a quarter tank… I drove by a Chevron the other day and saw gas at 6:59, and I just couldn’t do it. I literally drove away and said I’m not going to get gas then cuz that’s ridiculous. But it’s only going to get worse isn’t it… SMH… At least on the bright side I just got the city custom cash card lol should be here any day now…
