If you had put all this energy in the stock market, instead of credit card offers, you would’ve been a millionaire
Like for no stimulus video.
The Star Trek card sounds great in theory, but they're pretty sensitive to recent inquiries. I've gotten 6 new cards in the past year, and they rejected me despite an 800+ credit score with 15 years of history, no late payments ever, and nothing negative on the report other than clear evidence of churning with lots of inquiries. Pretty surprising for a minor credit union.
I love Alaska's card. I got a 40,000 mile bonus a year ago. The companion fare makes the card a cleaner, also 3x (I'm pretty sure) maybe 2x points back on money spent with Alaska
So glad your content is thoughtful and high quality. I skip right over stimulus videos every single time I see them!
If I apply and get denied, how many times can you retry calling recon? I heard the HUCA (hang up call again method) but how many times can you do it before you should eat your loss?
Also, how long do you predict the chase 5% grocery SUB sticking around? Possibly a month or two?
You say the BCE is for those who never intend to get a platinum card. Why is that?
Thank you for not doing stimulus updates. I unsubscribed from those folks.
Data Point: I picked up the Freedom Unlimited in May, and sent a SM to Chase the other day to ask if I could get a bonus match, and they promptly told me NO. That's a significant opportunity cost, since I'm still in the early game, have a lot of grocery spend, and am not yet ready to move onto the Amex Gold.
Lmao I never click on those stimulus clickbait videos. I click on yours because I know they’re going to provide quality information.
Upvoted for Vulcan wave at the end lol. Nice touch, with the Star Trek card mentioned earlier.
I'm dropping from 5/24 to 3/24 on August 1st… But I already have a Sapphire, both Freedoms, and a Marriott with them, and nothing else they have looks very interesting.
Can you speak to the legitimacy of Yotta? I've done some research but there really isn't much out there.
If you've already got a few cards with one bank (Chase) and they offer you another card based on your history/credit journey, will they perform a hard inquiry when you accept the new card?
Great vid man. I’ve got a question. I just placed a deposit for a cruise next summer. What’s the best way to tackle paying the rest of my fare and also booking plane tickets? I’m just running Amex gold right now but could open new cards if needed. Smash that like!
How long is the Alaska Card Deal going to be up for? Please halpppp
Gave you a like specifically for not talking about the stimulus check being “confirmed” lol
Applied on July 06th for AMEX Blue Cash Back and met the min.req. yesterday July 30th. Received today the introductory bonus of $150.
I’ve found if you go into private browsing mode sometimes you get the slightly higher offer bonus when signing up for cards
Live long and prosper.
