I would just love a good exchange rate on the Amex travel portal like Chase has.

Sebby, curious as to what your credit score is after all these years in the credit card game 🤯

This seems like it makes the Premier card competitive with the CSR given the annual fee difference. Chase is going to have to do something to make that card more competitive.

Quick question: What’s the best hotel status CC. Best bang for the buck focusing on room upgrades. I know some hotels give upgrades more often than others.

Great content, Sebby! I was wondering about your take on Citi. It’s been a while since those cards have been covered … I think 🤔. Yay! The old outro music is back! Or is it different depending on the type of video? 🤷🏽‍♀️ To be clear, peppy music 👍🏼 … classical one meh 😬

Sebby I’m looking for a long term card. I have to put my last year of college on this card tho. Which is going to be around $5,000. I was looking at the chase sapphire card, but should I get a card with 0% APR for a set amount of months? Currently have a 740 credit score. I am 23 years old, I do want to start traveling in the future.

If by aspirational you mean eating at a McDonald's in a foreign country, you would be correct. The greyhound bus of the skies is calling me, just not at 1cpp

I won $3 million on the lottery this weekend so I decided to donate a quarter of it to charity. Now I have $2,999,999.75.

At what point does Capital One no longer let people get their cards (in terms of the number of cards you already have)?

1 cpm is a fair rate. Amex current valuation to apply points for a cash credit sucks.

Sebastian,

Have you heard the news the wells fargo propel card is going away. The last day to apply is on Monday april 19th.

For the mid-game any issuers that have specific upper limits on the number of other cards you can have and still be approved for theirs? (Not looking for recent card focused limits like Chase 5/24 – thinking here more about card portfolio size)

Booked travel yesterday. Amex was only redeeming $.006/point compared to chase at $.015. Was quite disappointed but ended up getting a good deal thru chase. IMO 1 cent per point is the baseline.

Sebby, do you know how foreign transaction fees affect category spend? If a card gives 3% cash back for dining, does a 3% foreign transaction fee cancel it out to to 0? Or is the math more complicated?

Now that I have my USBank Reserve, I will turn in my Prestige $495 for the Premiere Card $95 with it's 60K points. If the Prestige ever return to glory I'll product change back.
