Learn more on the Sapphire Reserve:
In this video we look at a leaked document supposedly from Chase that shows upgrades coming for the Chase Sapphire Preferred and Chase Sapphire Reserve cards. These include increased points multipliers, hotel credits, points bonuses and more. The two cards mentioned are two popular travel credit cards from Chase that rival the popular Amex Platinum, Amex Gold and Amex Green from American Express.

Some people are saying the audio isnt working, check your youtube has sound on, there IS audio on the video file, and I get audio when i watch. You can try refreshing your browser too.
I wonder what counts as "online" grocery. If I order pickup through my grocery store's app, for instance, would that count? If so, hot damn! I just got the CSP, and that would easily make it a keeper.
I wonder if Chase is going to catch up to Am Ex on the yearly fees.
I just got a letter regarding my CSR saying a new annual fee of $550 will take effect for me. I thought I was already paying that.
You should do a new video to re-evaluate the Chase vs. AMEX trifectas once this update becomes official.
Calling the Amex changes an "upgrade" is a bit of a stretch imo
Citiprestige is no longer available?
deep throating max rewards in every video
Just had my af hit, was about to try and get a retention offer or cancel now idk what to do.
After the initial disappointment with the amex credits. I realized I actually can use them even easier now. But the CSP/CSR doesn’t necessarily seem TOO thrilling. Not enough for me to jump ship from amex.
Chase showing no love to csr holders
Maybe a design update as well!? Be nice to see a new coat of paint, and maybe a beefer metal.
If you have a Chase Sapphire Preferred and you're out of the 48 month bonus window, product change to the Chase Freedom Flex or the Chase Freedom Unlimited, then apply for the CSP and get the 100K UR signup bonus now. If you wait until August 15 and they end up increasing the annual fee, you will be OK.
Hopefully there is a good bump in the rewards, because I'll be looking into getting the Preferred next year.
Max Rewards is pretty nice as well! I like that it has support for store based cards too, Apple card and Best Buy card is handy.
About Time Chase!
Changes and upgrades left and right! Nice to competition heat up and and some cards getting refreshed.
Okay, I’m a little bit slow on the math here so someone please help me out. I been on edge of jumping in on the Sapphire Preferred ever since Chase recently approved me last month for it, because of how well I been making payments on my credit cards. When comparing between my Freedom Unlimited for dining use which is 3% back and the Preferred is 2X points, is it technically matched whether I use either cards or would I be getting more points out of the Preferred? For example: I went to a restaurant last month and paid the bill of $92.94 and I’m getting 278.82 pts based on the rewards activity page of the applied 3%. Now, if I had a CSP and used that to pay for the bill, where it’s 2 pts per $1 spent, when I calculated it is 185.88 pts. Am I calculating this wrong? It doesn’t make sense to me to use the Preferred over the Freedom Unlimited.
If the CSR is actually getting those upgrades I would consider changing to that from the Amex Platinum since the new benefits aren't really the best. They could have done way better
Hoping some upgrades come to the chase freedom cards
I had my csP for 4 years it need a buff lol 😆
These changes are a big snooze fest. They need to up their game to compete better with amex. I want to see more/better lounge access, hotel status, CLEAR credit, etc. They really need to make the CSP a dining/everyday card and the CSR a travel card and allow you to have both.
we're getting ready to book a pretty big trip for later this summer. Sure wish I could get on the new CSR benefits. those 10x points would be great
I'm not impressed with CSR and they just increased the annual cost to $550. Lameeee
CSR fee is increasing to $550, i got a letter in the mail 🙁
good video enjoyed the background music
CFPB rumors???
How is the hotel credit on the CSP and not the CSR???
I got a letter saying my new annual fee for the CSR is $550
I traveled to LA this week for two days and stayed the Sheraton Grand in DTLA that I booked with UR points from my Chase Business INK Plus card (discontinued I believe) and received a $30 hotel credit per day for snacks, room service, etc. I was surprised but not sure if this was a one off thing or a new perk that I failed to note previously with that particular chase card.
Please tell me the artist of the background music.
Annual fee is going up. I’ve got the letter in the mail
郝毅博你好
I want an app where you put in all the points you have and you put in a destination your trying to get to and it tells you the best way to get there.
Got the letter for CSR AF going up to $550.
Why do you always mentioned the freedom flex and not the unlimited even tho the unlimited has the same 3x on dining 🙁
I currently have a Chase Freedom Student card and have had it for 10 months now, i want to upgrade to another chase card to eventually get to a sapphire preferred. should i go with the Flex or the Unlimited? should i wait? or should i go for something else?
That fee is going up and you can still get more values periodically from the Freedom cards. We also don't know what will happen with the opening bonus. It's a guessing game at this point.
After downgrading from CSR to the Freedom Unlimited, how long does chase require their customers to wait before applying for the CSP? I’ve heard mixed answers. Was wondering if you have the scoop…
would you still recommend the flex paired with the CSR?
Very informative 👍🏼My annual fee is coming up.Which card is the best to downgrade too?
The 10% anniversary bonus is great marketing for a completely meaningless gimmick. $31 worth of points for $25,000 in spending has got to be the most ridiculous "bonus" I've ever seen in my life.
Which credit card is better the Southwest priority card or the chase sapphire Preferred Card. I'm looking into getting a new credit card but I want the best one when it comes to traveling.
