Episode Description
Did you know there is an awesome European themed village about 30 minutes from the Strip with a beautiful lake, luxury hotels and a village that is half empty. Find out what makes Lake Las #Vegas so special and how it has struggled from the beginning, but why it may be coming back slowly. And also how it now houses an abandoned casino.
In other #news Vegas #casinos took in more money on Super Bowl bets than ever before, but did they win more? We also discuss Jeff Goldblum’s first Vegas performance, the probable return of Adele to Caesars and which pizza places in Vegas stack up to the competition.

Thanks. FYI, I took your advice and, while in Vegas the week before the Big Game, I went to Mirage and took advantage of their Tier Match to Gold level. No resort fees and free self parking! What's more, I even won $150 on a slot machine. Woo- hoo!
Speaking of the Superbowl, you will recall that QB Matthew Stafford nearly caught a pass on a trick play. Any way to find out what that proposition bet ("QB catches a pass") would have paid if he'd caught it?
Thank you to our hosts Shawn and Mark. Yikes! That is a lot of $$$$$ bet on the Super Bowl. Mark is right; People are loosening up and getting out.
He played when he starred on Law and Order Criminal Intent, played piano in there
I had a fantastic stay at the Westin Lake Las Vegas, Drinks, Beach, Activities all on Bonvoy points but if you want to gamble you have to go to Emerald Isle in Henderson.
Virgin Hotel, Branson is to busy putting people in space to worry about his casino. Although I do believe that there is still an audience that will attend orchestra music entertainment. Back when I started going to Vegas my friends all said no will go to Vegas when they built casinos everywhere.
But even the nicest casinos built elsewhere do not compare to being in las Vegas. I still here from people that they want to go to and see the Original.
Just hope the Plague /zombie apocalypse holds off for about three weeks until after my trip to Vegas😂
Wow, not only did that bartender have a gun pointed at him, It appears the robber fired a shot in the video.
Yeah, overall Lake Las Vegas is a great place! It offers point redemption opportunities and there is a great Mexican place there! The casino has since become a convention center and there used to be a Flying car testing site out there. The only con and the only reason it is less visited is the lack of casino, which I think is just leading the place in a never-ending cycle because there is no one coming since there is nothing to do.
I have swam in there and they did make a seasonal water park, which I am not sure if it will be coming back this summer and it was overall pretty fun. The water did smell a bit odd 3 years ago but I just took a shower and that was good enough!
Comparing sports betting handle numbers over the years for Nevada you need to consider that a very high percentage of bets are bet on apps in the last couple of years. Most people aren't even going to the casinos. I bet professionally and I cannot remember the last time I bought a ticket in the sportsbook 🙂
Maybe try some hydrogen peroxide (NOT ON CAR PAINT) on glass, side of house, or cloth. If it's poop it will foam. Idk, just a thought.
Your statements about sewage going into Lake Las Vegas are false. Please visit the Clark County Wetlands park which is extensive. It would make some great footage for your show.
I'm from Michigan but this subject is one I know well. Thanks and let's be fair guys.
Great review of Lake Las Vegas. I remember when it first opened, I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton and remember that building’s evolution into the Hilton. Worth a mention is Boulder Highway being near. It’s no Strip of course, and a bit rough around the edges for some, but can’t beat Joker’s Wild et al for a “locals” casino and friendly diner experience.
Well as the old saying goes. If you don't have haters your doing something wrong 😁👍😁👍😎😎
Brown stuff looks like bat guano, jersey shore last season was at lake Las Vegas and you’re in Orlando and not gonna tell us again? Any meet ups?
Tired of hearing about Adele lmao
Coomer & Ostermann! Keep up the great work! Didn’t know much about Lake Las Vegas & the Montelago. That’s a nice hidden gem there in LV. I’m sure if they tried to revitalize the Montelago it could do decent similar to Green Valley Casino. Take care gentlemen!
I've been to Lake Las Vegas a few times and while pretty, I wasn't impressed. Another local Tuber did a vlog not too long ago and made it look like it was thriving (like when it first opened.) and even mentioned the casino, but oddly didn't mention it was shuttered. I found their video really deceiving. Thanks for a fun video guys!
AirBNB pricing for places at LLV have gotten quite high. Lots of housing being built here. It's nice and quiet and great change of pace from strip.
Any update on the Flamingo sale rumor?
I have been going out to Lake Las Vegas at least once a week for the last two and a half years now and working the residential construction for water softeners used to go out there in the mid 2000s for window coverings and I can tell you that a huge amount of residential construction is going on some in the front near the main entrance but mostly in the back of the main loop. Dell Webb is building a huge 55+ community and starting on a phase two as well as Lennar, Richmond American, Blue Heron , Woodside, and some custom builders we are talking thousands of homes , Dell Webb alone is building close to a thousand between the two phases.
Lets see if we can figure all this out !!!!!!!!! The brown rain , without question is being caused by , who else , Donald Trump !!!!!!! Wait until they charge him with the killing of Abraham Lincoln , the brown rain thing will disappear !!!!!!!!! And I can tell you with all certainty , that Trump had nothing to do with Adele screwing all those good ( stupid ) people who paid thousands to hear the same song over and over !!!!!!!!!!!! This broad is so overrated is sickening !!!!!!!!!! If Caesars takes her ( it ) back , they are more F*ucked up than her !!!!!!!! Dear Adele , go back to where you came from !!!!!!!!
I hadn't heard about this! What the heck. Another reason to stay away from the East side
It’s coming from the planed it’s human waste
