Episode Description

#Primm, Nevada is located just 30 minutes from Las #Vegas and has quite an interesting history and story to tell. Buffalo Bill’s has long been the most iconic casino in Primm, however it has been closed since March, 2020. Thankfully Buffalo Bill’s has risen from the dead for 2023 and I’ll show you what it looks like today.

In this full Buffalo Bill’s Primm property #tour I’ll take you inside and outside of the recently reopened property. We’ll take a detailed look at the casino plus the hotel, arena, buffalo shaped pool and all of the rides including the famous Desperado roller coaster. Find out what is coming back and what isn’t plus why my tour gave me great hope for this beloved property.

Our favorite stop before driving into Vegas! We will be stopping this Saturday on our way to Vegas

Up until it’s closing, I frequently stopped there on the way in & out. In addition to being a good potty break, nostalgia wins. I grew up when the family themeing was big. BB, the monorails, and then adventure dome @ CC. The arcade at BB wasn’t too bad for my family. Bring back the shoot’em log ride!

Such a great nostalgic and loving video on this property! Thank you! Travel youtubers tend to bag on this place, but I'll never forget it! It was really a great oasis themed so beautifully. You really can just spend the whole day there.

We stayed at Buffalo Bill's back in the late 90s on our way from Utah to California because my dad wanted to ride the coaster. I remember really liking it but haven't been back sense.

We always stop there on our way in and out of Vegas. We very often win some money. Yes, I was going to mention that they had various Mexican singers perform there.

Thanks! BB's looks really nice, woth a big, open (and uncrowded) casino floor.
I presume no table games were open. If that is incorrect, could you tell us what the minimum bets were?

Buffalo Bill's was a great hotel casino until about 2017..Then , the owners simply let the maintenance go .. Rooms got very ratty…..dirty carpets, faded and dirty paint…….Now , in late 2022, we don't see any live table games, or a new race and sportsbook…Buffalo Bills
lost their fine race and sports book in about 2016…Glad they are back, but casino wise, entertainment wise, it is 75% of it's old self.. Still, glad they are back in business…So much huge potential here…They need stronger ownership…

Loved it in its hey day. At first they ran the rides no matter what the weather. In time that changed and we also saw the rides open less and less. No matter what we always stopped off for the Buffett or the hot dog special at the center bar. It’s unique.

Great video. It was always called "The Fun Stop" to Vegas. Their buffet was among best. Attended Star of the Desert concerts, stayed in the hotel numerous times, enjoyed visiting every time. Very popular destination with Tour Bus groups from So. Cal. either as a same day turnaround trip or hotel stay. Good to see optimism in the reopening of Buffalo Bills. There was a shuttle bus which traveled every 30 minutes to Buffalo Bills, Whiskey Pete & Primm Valley. Hopefully someday, all 3 casino/ resorts & the outlets will be functional again as it was before.

Love that BB is back. I hope it keeps going. It was always a blast to stop there in the 90s

If they get the food and attractions up and running and keep things cheap, they might have a chance. The coaster was the best part. 👍

On our way home back to California from Vegas, we would always do a "one last chance" stop at Stateline and we'd either go to Primmadonna or Buffalo Bills. What a great place to grab a meal, shop, do a little gambling, play games and ride rides. Then we'd wait for traffic to die down, gas up the car and head home. It's nice to see that Buffalo Bills has returned! Looking forward to checking it out again! Excellent work and research on the video! Keep up the great work. Looking forward to the next one. Take care!

What a great video. So glad to see BB open again. If the pricing stays reasoable it should do okay. I hope it does. I love the old nostalgia feel too. When i lived in southern California and went to Vegas i use to stop there it sure had a lot going on in the heyday. Thanks again for sharing.

The isolation of Primm both helps and hurts the resorts. Lack of customers is the obvious hurt for Primm due to its isolation but a lack of investors (due to the isolation) interested in buying the resorts to further develop the land helps keep the resorts in their original designs.

Thanks for the update. Loved going there in the 90s. Everything you said was spot-on. Great vid. PS. They need to bring that area "back" to where it once was…..
