I never cared for the Hard Rock and after seeing some vids of the new Virgin, it doesn't look like I'll be busting any doors down to visit. Keep up the great content.

The Virgin Hotel doesn't look bad, it just looks confused😂

This loss of business lawsuits are happening all over the country. Many small businesses are caught up in this.

The Virgin Hotel kicked out at least one youtube live vlogger on opening night. Hard to believe in this time of the YouTube vlogger and the free publicity they bring. Add this up with the closure of some of the Hard Rock pools, no outside food and the "dated tropical" decor….Good Luck not-on-the-strip VH&C. About that decor, I've seen more of the inside of the place…it is definitely that "London mod" look that can be seen on Virgin Atlantic aircraft and airport lounges. They need Austin Powers slot machine, baby.

It's good to see Resorts World generating buzz…that part of the strip was my favorite and I would love to see it built back up again.

BTW: shouldn't The Pass casino be The Pass Line? At least the the sports book inside. The Pass Line Sport Book sounds kinda nice. (I know I know Railroad Pass casino)

Great show, guys, thanks!

I tried the founders card link adn it said -isn't working. Do you have to own a business to get the card? I was under the impression this card was for business owners.

There’s this new thing called podcasts. It’s kindve like radio but not the same. I think this show would do great on that platform.

Thank you to our hosts Shawn and Mark. Yes, agreed: some upsets in the NCAA tournament. Won’t be the same without L V being a venue. Here’s hoping.

Here’s your quiz for 50 points and a chance to advance to the next round. Name the two undefeated NCAA BB teams who met in the finals in 1967. One initials for top player “Big E,” and the other team player initials L A.

I agree: Chinese food is great. If anything is better, it is Vietnamese: if anything is better than that, it is Thais cuisine.

I'm hearing/reading more negative 1st impressions & reviews with Virgin Hotels LV, rather than positive. I was extremely bored with several LIVE streams just going around in circles. However like you, I'm keeping an open mind and won't pass any judgement until I visit the property, myself in the summer (crossing my fingers) I do believe it's location is "always" going to be an issue but if Virgin caters to a niche Vegas market they will be fine. Finally I have some initial concerns with Resort World's 16 Asian hawker-style food halls. I'm glad you brought up Lucky Dragon. I don't think this experience appeals to the "Vegas" masses and IMO more American style food options much like Block 16 @ The cosmo are necessary. Thanks and have a great weekend Shawn. #MtM

I'm so excited to see Resorts World, hopefully it will be fully opened when I'm in Vegas this July. And yes I'm also excited for the hawker center food court there. So many exciting things are happening in Vegas, I can't wait to get back in Sin City and party once this whole covid thing is over with.

Why would Ceasars be suing for losses? Elite member here and have spent lots of money since they’ve reopened. Machines are super tight since the pandemic. They offer little to their members. Also the rooms are not cleaned to standards always had to change rooms. Half A$$ cleaning in a covid world is not acceptable. Especially the amount of money we customers spend at the properties. They are chasing their customers away on their own. Don’t blame covid!

The Virgin Hotel looks more like something I'd expect to see as a tourist to Las Vegas. It's more vintage, or historically accurate. If there's one thing we know about the Virgin brand, it's that Virgin strives to be different for everyone else.

This past weekend was busy but nothing crazy. Lots of people out in the arts district and on Fremont. We went on a Pub Crawl where the guy drives you around on a bike thing to different bars downtown. Pretty fun. After went to the long bar at circa.

I probably won’t go see Katy Perry but that’s cool for many of her fans.

What is your Facebook page?

The Asian food court experience only works if you can get items for under $5. It won’t catch on if every stall is $15; Then it’s a just a one stall destination.

In the UK there have been thousands of lawsuits against insurance companies not paying out what businesses regard as legitimate claims. Unfortunately they all have to be decided on a case by case basis because there is no standard wording in most of the policies. Some have won their cases and some have not, it depends how craftily the underwriters have phrased their claim terms. Caesars needs all the help it can get so I can see why they would give this a shot.

I’ve gone off Caesar’s entertainment completely, it looks like a desperate company trying to claw back money anyway they can. 🇬🇧

Love food halls, love the variety of Asian foods. If this was in, say, San Francisco or Honolulu I would expect more success. Eventually I predict the food offerings will expand, even if the decor remains the same.

Great content as usual. Regarding the Founders Card, do you know if MLife will tier match from a Diamond card to them. My Diamond card expires this year and MLife is very specific on their website on matching the specific casinos that issue the Caesars Diamond card.
Thanks.

Virgin Hotels should give discounted rates, to people who are on their frequent flyers club. or allow people to use air miles to discount/stay in rooms.

I have seen a few Vegas vloggers saying that Virgin won't allow anyone to film in their restaurants. Not sure if it includes other areas. 'All You Can Vegas' just walked out when told that. These vloggers, including you guys, do a lot of free publicity for the hotels/casinos/resorts. This does not make Virgin look very smart in my opinion. So Celine is dumping Caesars for RW? Wow, that really makes a statement about the state of affairs over there. Thanks Shawn and Mark. Love your channel! 👍👍

Hi! I signed up for this founder's card offer last week, the day this video came out. I received a confirmation email, but have heard nothing else since. (They said 1-3 business days)… I hope they're going to still honor this deal even though it's now past the March 31st expiration? Is this kind of wait typical?

In the big shooting from the Mandalay Bay a few years ago, it was the insurance company that took the big financial hit.
The shooting killed about 50 people, with the shooter who was mad at the casinos after losing about $2M.
The shooter thought the casinos would be hit hard in the liability court system, but he was wrong.
The final resolution was a cost of $880 million, but the insurance company paid $800M and MGM only paid $80M.
The insurance company had nothing to do with the shooter losing $2M, but they were the ones paying for the casinos ripping off the shooter.
The shooter made $5M gambling on real estate, then lost $2M gambling on unwinnable casino games.

I like the Virgin brand. The music stores and the airline were cool. I'm completely disinterested in checking out Virgin Casino, I am very interested in checking out Resort World from the buzz
