What do you think of Caesars taking away matched status from people?
When I saw Ceasars downgrading people I knew Mark was going to give them the finger! If they will screw over gold, platinum and diamond high rollers, they don't want old guys with limited funds like me in their snooty casino. MGM, Luxor and NYNY are good with me.
Thanks a lot guys , you just ruined my 4th of July trip to , yes , my favorite "cheap" hotel , Excaliber . I have to tell you , I have always had great rooms there , but , I guess times have changed !!!!! Hey Mark , I lived in Detroit , Sterling Heights, for a year, and Jets pizza was one of my staple foods . It's the only thing I miss from Detroit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to say it again , Las Vegas has to "reinvent " itself for the future.
Bring the tanks back! Vegas is being invaded by inflation!!
After not coming to LV for many years, I started again in 2020 and 2021 having gotten Diamond status via Wyndham match. On each trip I stayed at a Caesars property (LINQ, 2xHarrahs, 3xFlamingo) and played poker exclusively at Caesar's Palace and ate mainly at their restaurants. Clearly I'm not going back without Diamond status if I have to pay resort fees and parking. However as Globalist with Hyatt I have MGM Gold status, which does remove those fees. I'm unclear whether I can match MGM to Diamond, but I do plan to get the Wyndham card later on. Next LV trip won't be until June at the earliest.
I was seeing that the Grand Re-Opening for the Palms was supposed to be something like March 22-25, 2022, but now I can't find any dates again, and everything is back to the generic "Spring of 2022" It's clearly been delayed. Any news on that front guys? Great video once again. Lots to cover here recently.
Regarding Caesars' shenanigans; all hail Caligula! 👿 It takes talent to continue to shamelessly run this company into the ground. 😡
The Durango will initially have a higher number of visitors because it's new. Then it'll slow down. Stations' current rewards program is pathetic at best. Food Hall=food court. 😂 Traffic will be insane.
Sad about Bonnie Springs Ranch. Taxpayers will foot the bill for infrastructure. $5mil…smh. 😡 That's gonna be alot of water useage.
Seems Caesars is ok with chasing all of their customers away, which is a strange business model. I'll be staying elsewhere from now on.
Luv Indian reservation casinos! It's their revenge on us!
So, neither one you guys ever served? Yes, they routinely move whole armored divisions by train across the southwest. The Army’s National Training Center is at Ft Irwin. It seems people only notice when there’s scary things happening in the world.
Love your videos. I live in Ohio, so we have gone to Soaring Eagle and Kewadin casinos. We have a Hollywood here in town, but not impressed with them. Nice casino but just as tight as Vegas if not worse. Stay safe. Have a good one. Karen
Free drinks, comps, sports bets in March madness?
Military vehicles have to run every once in a while so you know it works before sending it to war
We were just in Vegas last week and stayed at Caesars. I was still Diamond Status and was able to use celebration dinner. Just looked at my status today after watching your video. Bam I was just downgraded to Gold.
Moving tanks justifies paying half the budget of our taxes to the military industrial complex. Also must protect our freedom for homeless Veterans to live on the street. Priorities, smh
Ok I live in West Henderson and love pizza so gonna have to try Jets Pizza looked really good. West Henderson hospital started construction at St. Rose and Raiders way by the way.
Desert Warfare Training happens all the time
Jealous of the coming Jet's in Vegas. We need one here in Reno. The very best pizza here is about what a fourth rate joint would be in Detroit.
Wow. The tanks are crazy. I’ve seen them on the freeway but never on the train.
Gentrification. Vegas is getting way to expensive.
Glad I visited Bonnie Springs years ago. Loved the location not to far from Red Rock. Wild Burros running around free. It was like going back in time.
Didn't Station casinos build the M casino also ? Durango outside looks similar to Virgin. But looks nice. We have Jets pizza in Wisconsin, It's just so so.
If ever near Milwaukee or Madison try Rocky Rococo
Pizza. Indian casinos here are very tight ,no regulations. I do like Four Winds casino in New Buffalo , Michigan.
Re: housekeeping … Excalibur reminds me of a place I stayed at in Seattle one time on a last-minute booking when looking for a “”deal””. It was as if a stripper had blown up in there… the room was littered with press-on nails, hair pins, glitter, and eyelashes everywhere. That was a definite ‘sleep in your clothes and lay a towel down first’ nights. Bleh! shudders
I demand fountain blue
I am so glad I stuck with MGM. In my experience, they have treated me so well that I have nothing bad to say about them. I love the Park MGM. And I love the rewards I get at Gold Level Status. Keep up the AMAZING work MGM!
Turtle Creek Resort and Casino in Traverse City has beverage machines on the floor.
Chris who?
Caesars/Harrahs used to be so good. seems they ae going downhill. I am in St Louis and the Lumiere Casino here is becoming a horseshoe soon and will eventually use Caesars cards.
Las Vegas in 2022 not customer friendly I’m shocked.
Caesars hasn’t been Caesars for about 30 years.
I tried reserving for my trip in June, and was treated like I was a smelly bum! Caesar’s properties are off my list
Very surprised that Caesars is doing this which I think is a very poor long-term move. Don't know if MTM has covered this but many buffets are simply not coming back. Look at Red Rock where they drywalled over the buffet area and numerous other places that have opened back up fully but no buffets. The only buffets that are open are the very high-end ($$$$$Expensive) buffets on the Strip from what I've seen.
Durango looks like a conventioners airport hotel. It's bewildering they don't see how cosmo, circa, and area 15 is successful because they brought back THEMING! Durango doesn't look… fun!
