Episode Description
#Caesars once again is talking about a blockbuster sale, but people are still guessing which property will be sold off. They’ve apparently been shopping Flamingo around for $1B but have they found a buyer? Plus #MGM is making big moves of their own after VICI Properties bought MGM’s REIT and took over ownership of so much of Las #Vegas.
In other #news there is a proposal to make a big change to the pedestrian bridges above the Strip. We also learned of potential regulation for cannabis lounges, Adele may be moving away from Caesars and a body from the 1970s was found in Lake Mead.

still not gonna see adele… would rather see you two. lol
Can’t believe you only have 27,000 subscribers. You guys have great info!!
Dealers are walking off the job at Palms. They’re generally making less than $100 a day, and face a super dangerous walk from their cars to the casino, and back. It has been a disaster.
The boss of Formula 1 is a multi-billionaire. The $240M is shoe money to him, he can suffer the loss if he has to sell.
I hope the Flamingo survives if it gets sold. Like the Venetian.
I'd be shocked if the body wasn't a mob hit, especially considering the time period. And I'd bet there are more of them in the lake, too.
I have always thought they should close the strip to through traffic. Have some form of mass transit run down the center of the strip. Probably either bus mass transit or light rail. Then have dedicated lanes to access the driveways of the properties that main driveways are on the strip. Everywhere else widen the sidewalks as much as possible. Hopefully, the addition of mass transit would limit the stress such a plan would put on the surrounding streets.
Great content … thanks!
Who the hell wants to be around alot of dar, kies. No one. NFL sucks and these dar, kies are out of control. They need stop and frisk on all dar, kies!
Maybe they are going to sell that piece of shit Cromwell… 😈
It's not just the land, it's the land and all structures on it. Right?
Long time Vegas fan and surprised by all the changes on all strip area resorts. Keep up the excellent content. Thanks guys.
$240 mil is nothing to Formula 1 considering the money involved in that sport on an international level. 20 cars and 10 teams that each spend well over $250 million annually to compete for the driver and manufacturers titles. Its a big money sport. Without an area for garages, infrastructure and storage etc, the race couldn't happen. Every inch of the course is going to have to be repaved as well while curbs, fences, grandstands, pit lanes and garages are constructed. This is going to be a disruptive and time consuming process. Believe me, the only people making money on F1 is F1. Think of getting an F1 race like landing the Olympics…the host city usually gets burned.
Btw, I think they should close the strip to all traffic besides public transport, taxi's, limos, law enforcement and licensed TNC/rideshare vehicles. (at least on the weekends) It never ceases to amaze me how many people are just aimlessly driving the strip at midnight on the weekends. Just park your car and spend some money or go back to California ffs. It's ridiculous.
thanks Sean and mark, as usual great video enjoyed a lot keep up the good work
I'M ROLLING OVER HERE!! "Little Darlings" sounds like a strip club merged with Toddler's in Tiaras!!!
I'm wondering if celine will go over to plant Hollywood
First of all , I think they found more barrels than they are telling you . When they realized they had so many barrels , thats when they decided to set them up on the streets and have a formula 1 race around the barrels !!!!!!! Second of all , I don't believe there is such a thing as the city of Las Vegas . The casino owners tell Vegas what to do and stopping people from drinking in pot parlors or nude bars ( some sin city huh ) is just a way of keeping alcohol sales in the casinos. It's the same with restricting pot in the hotels and casinos. It's all about alcohol sales . Thirdly, places like the Palms and the Rio , NEED , free , shuttle rides to and from the strip. I passed up many great concerts at the palms just because of the hassle and cost of getting to and from the hotel !!!!!!! Fourthly , Adel , is so overrated , they should just send her to Laughlin for a week or so !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And last but not least , it's time to change the city name to " Las Vici " . P.S. any city without a JETS PIZZA isn't worth going to .
I prefer to stay at Flamingo myself as Caesar Diamond. Might need to upgrade to Paris if sale happens.
Love the updates. Thanks for sharing. Good content. Karen
Oh nooo..poor Chris Angel! He was such a great show.(PSA Do not drink when you ingest edibles……you will be comatose) lol.
13:01 Marc brings up a good point but the casino giants need cash to expand including the much more lucrative asian market, that is why Sands, MGM and Caesars are selling their land/buildings and sometimes the operation too.
"Resort Fees" is killing Vegas.
F1 is an elite sport on the level of the olympics and the world cup, but it happens 20+ times per year.
I read an article about Elon Musk buying a Casino. Maybe he will be getting one of the Strip?
Re: the F1 purchase and its price – F1 is the multi-billionaire annual traveling circus. F1 week will likely have the highest number of whales in Vegas for the entire year. That sport oozes money. A mere 250M is a drop in the bucket.
I have never swam in lake mead. I just want to start off with that! Yes crazy ! They found two different sets of remains so far!
You guys are great…love the videos.
Formula one race is going to suck for workers to get to and from work. I don’t see how some properties will be accessible or be able to get emergency vehicles to. The cosmopolitan gave their employees a $5000.00 bonus pissing off employees at every property.
The bodies are showing up because the water levels are at an all time low at Lake Mead.
Yeesh. Instead of prohibiting pedestrians from stopping on the LVB bridges, how about prohibiting the escalators from stopping! It's mind-boggling that the escalator reliability is as low as it is… joke of public infrastructure.
Why is it Harah’s LV gets negative comments, but if the same is said of CC you defend that location. I think of Harah’s as an institution and centrally located. Never had a bad time there even if some of it is dated…
Nice to see Palms reopened
The big story in this video that was not discussed was all the broken escalators.
So wondering about these moves made by the Corporations that own use properties and what happens if the next RECESSION hits as predicted by the “EXPERTS” and people stop coming? Good work as usual
I can no longer subscribe to your channel. Mark is too damn sarcastic for me! Everything is a joke to him!! Facts and not his bull hit!
Born & raised in LA i never thought any place would be as bad as we are with weed smell everywhere. With Vegas being a tourist driven city, the lounges should've went hand & hand with opening the dispensaries. They sell it to tourists but it's illegal to smoke anywhere, what do they think tourists are buying it for? I'm surprised Caesar's is hanging on to Cromwell everytime i go there it's so dead. Unless Drais is bringing in a gang of money. The strip closed to cars would be heavenly, but i can't see how they could do that when ppl need to check in & out and some only have the strip access, not a back street. Another great vlog, full of info🤗
Thanks as I just went to your mtm website for the review of the Palms!! Agree that these Casino REITs are problematic. You never stop paying rent and then with a landlord, how do they negotiate improvements/expansions to the particular property?? These Casino REITs remind me a little bit of the leveraged buyouts that took private the various public stock groups such as Stations Casinos and Harrah's/Caesars. The LBOs took place when the stocks were at an all-time high so the LBOs resulted in a mountain of debt. Then when the gaming market went South, Stations Casinos and Harrah's/Caesars ended up defaulting on all that debt. Wonder what happens in a downturn when they can't pay the rent tab??
