Newb question. Can both these cards be used for business vs personal? Still a bit confused if there are official "business" categorized cards…or if they're all basically the same. Thanks!

Got the Venture X and planning yo keep it. Will downgrade CSR just because the $250 annual fee doesn’t make sense to me.

@asksebby, my CSR annual fee is early December. I really want the venture X now as I am planning Xmas trip to New York I can hit min spend. What’s optimal strategy? If I downgrade to FLEX then upgrade back to CSR later, will annual fee still be every December?

Hmmm it's tough. Ive been on a route of like 2 cards a year so half the year I'm chasing sign up bonuses and not caring about redemption rates.

I've had the Chase trifecta as my base for some time now. CFU CFF CSP. I was thinking I might upgrade my CSP to a CSR but honestly maybe I just keep CSP, CFF and then use the Venture X as my base 2% back card instead of a CFU….though it would be nice to have those points in one place.

Idk I probably will at the very least get the Venture X next for the signup bonus

pay a little more for the CSR…Capital One customer service is complete shit. If you have to report fraud or use their insurance, they don't have the consumers back.

Hi Sebby! Can you please reply. About 4 years back i got CSP (with intro bonus) and about a year later I upgraded that to CSR. Can I downgrade this to Freedom and apply for either new CSP or CSR again for intro bonus? Thank you!

Wells fargo is offering card switch from the platinum card to the active cash card. In the past, they would close one account&open a new account for the new card, causing loss of account history. Did they change that now with this new card?

Regardless of the benefits and earning/redemption rate, the Venture X is the only premium travel card out there that pays you to hold their card year after year and gives PP to four of your siblings at no charge. A game changer card.

Sebby, would you be able to book a VISA Infinite hotel collection using Venture X in the C1 Portal to receive those benefits that come with VISA infinite?

It's interesting how much energy we spend figuring out how to get 3% back on spend when inflation CPI is often 3-5% anyway… It's like being a hamster in a wheel.
