Casino Rewards: Casino Status Match Guide (Atlantic City and Las Vegas 2020)

Las Vegas 2020 Casino Status Match Guide

Generally, Casino status matching starts with a hotel loyalty match promotion whereby Wyndham Diamond status is earned through matching an existing elite status with a different hotel chain. Unfortunately, Wyndham has discontinued it’s status match promotion until further notice, so the typical path to casino status is no longer available. On the other hand, it seems that nearly every casino program is offering Status Matches to elite members of competing casinos. Even more exciting than that are the freebies that come along with many casino match promotions. In this video I’ll go over the status matching process and everything you need to know to get some free comped nights and a few free play offers.

Here’s a link to the Casino Status Match Guide (Now that the Wyndham Match is DEAD)

5 Steps to Casino Status Matches
1. Earn low level casino loyalty status or World of Hyatt Explorist or better or Wyndham Diamond.
2. Start out in Atlantic City if you hope to earn free nights and play at Borgata and Hard Rock AC.
3. Use Casino status to match to Wyndham rewards and World of Hyatt so that you can rematch next year and keep status indefinitely.

Caesars Diamond Status is the key to paying no resort fees on any stay. Check out the BougieMiles Caesars Rewards Guide here:

I'm in CA, so getting to AC is a big jump to status match. It also looks like this is only for NEW Caesars players, but what about us that already have an account?

Hi I’ve watched this video a good five times and still have questions. If I start with Caesars platinum and go through your steps, can I end with Caesar diamond ?

I tried this in Atlantic City and it does not work. Hard Rock will not give you Rock Royalty because the Chairman card Golden Nugget gives you is a Trade Up (which is written on the card)… they do not tier upgrade off of a tier upgraded card. It's even written in the program rules.

The highest tier match at Golden Nugget with a Gold Card from Ocean is Premier, no longer Chairman+Elite.

What are your thoughts on getting the Wyndham credit card for Platinum status and then matching, now that the Marriott status match is dead?
