Emirates award chart is mostly garbage. Super high points requirement AND high fuel surcharges. It's better to redeem via AS.

Very high fuel charges I hear. Pay in cash , or use other miles such as Alaska or I think JaL for ek flights. Lower costs and fees that way

Emirates awards are too expensive for my blood… I'd rather pay a lot less miles and fees an fly an Asian airline. I'll pay cash for Emirates if I'm ever interested in the future.
