Both Chase and American Express have increased the grocery earning rates on their travel credit cards. These travel credit cards are now some of the best grocery and supermarket credit cards available.

Chase is coding Wal-Mart and Target as grocery stores (as long as that actual store you shop in has a grocery dept.) with this promo. Neat little caveat on this offer.
Doesn’t the chase freedom give 5% for groceries this quarter
You have UR at 1.5 cpp and Hyatt at 2.0 cpp seems off considering UR can transfer to Hyatt at 1 to 1.
I am going to be using the CSP until the time. Allows then I will go back to using my AMEX gold, The only reason I say that is because I transfer all my AMEX points to my Charles Schwab brokerage account because I’m hard-core into investing right now
I had a chat with Amex regarding the 4X for the Delta Gold. The rep was not familiar and had to do some research. What do I need to do to verify that I am actually getting 4X before my monthly statement?
I just got the Gold so I'll be sticking with that for the SUB. But the CSR 5x at walmart/target is the real game changer!
Same card I always use; AmEx Blue Cash Preferred. Six percent, real cash. No waiting a year for air travel to come back.
Already have 5% cards for Amazon, Walmart, and Target.
Hey Justin, Do you foresee any signup bonus increases for Chase Partner Cards
sometime before the end of the year ? If not, I might as well go with
IHG Card and Freedom for now and wait for the airline card bonuses to
increase until next year.
Love this. Thanks so much for putting this together. I was dreading to look back thru docOfCred what all the deals are. That chart you made is very helpful. I will be maxing out CSR and Surpass, Might throw in some Hyatt too. Im getting on this tomorow
MAybe Chase Freedom will extend 5% for groceries for Q3
Solid breakdown video! This puts everything in better view on what card to use during this points/miles harvest. I think if I had the Aspire or Surpass card, it would be one of those. But, the CSR is looking pretty nice, too. But for now, I'm still using my Gold card for groceries and I spend between $100 and $200 a week on groceries, so this thorough breakdown is pretty accurate for my situation. Take care Dustin and stay safe!
I’m using CSR for 30 days, then Surpass/Aspire until end of July. Then I’ll try Prestige as that 250 is good at grocery/dining. Wife will do CSR for 60 days then aspire during July.
Do you think now would be a good time to get the Hilton Surpass? Twice as long to get the minimum spend for bonus, and do it all with grocery? Any fear of Hilton going through bankruptcy or devaluing points?
Excellent video and perfect timing. My strategy is confirmed. Surpass card all the way. Was using it already till I get to $15k for the annual free night. This will be a nice added bonus on the points earned along the way.
GREAT VIDEO, EDITING, AND INFO!
I need to use the Amex Platinum for the sub for about another 10 days. After that I’ll use CSR then Hilton Amex.
It sucks that personal amex delta gold gets a multiplier but the business version does not
Your valuation exactly matches mine for Marriott, Hilton, and Delta, which is why I load the boat on Hilton offers of 1,000 MR = 3,000 Hilton. BTW, I got a $75 appreciation credit on my Delta Business Platinum today, probably because I've spend 50K/60K on the card in previous years. Wasn't a fan of the Reserve changes, but the Delta Platinum is a keeper for me.
Amex Gold card (a clear grocery card) vs all of these offers. Interested on the results. Nowhere near the $25,000 limit.
Well you got me good Dustin. I think I’ll be using csr then Hilton surpass. Or maybe delta platinum and Hilton surpass and split the months evenly. Don’t know. So confused by all the love. It’s like all the popular girls in high school like me all at the same time😳
You just did the Best Video on the New Amex and Chase increased Grocery Promotion! I have the Amex Surpass and the Amex Delta Platinum and will be using them to earn Grocery Points.
How does the AMEX gold card rank?
I am sticking with Chase, I can cash it out for money and if I a need hotel I can transfer to Hyatt, Best of both worlds. I`ll probably switch over to Delta for the month of July for Amex
Why even have amex gold?
I don’t understand, I got denied with Amex blue card with a 723 credit score 🧛
I think I will be using my hyatt or CSP. I'm working on my second portion of the bonus for hyatt but I'm not worried about hitting it as I have over 3 months left and am halfway to it. My biggest thing is I feel my UR points would be more versatile and can transfer them to hyatt down the road for the same redemption.
Using my Amex Delta Platinum everyday card. Especially groceries.
Thank you for great content.
Why haven't you sold out and done stimulus money videos like the other credit card people, you will get more subs and $
Great video Dustin, which is better to use for groceries right now the Hilton Surpass with the 12x or the Amex Gold with the 4x?
