Chase Ink Business cards and Chase Business credit cards some of the best business credit cards around. But as the economic climate changes, is Chase making it harder to be approved for a Chase business credit card?

Chase is getting ahead of the game to protect themselves, better to be proactive than reactive.
Chase was really lenient in issuing business cards. I thought they were going to get tougher with them before the pandemic. Not surprised at all.
Quite frankly, I think they are going to tighten up on personal cards as well. Nevertheless, it's not a big deal. It's not like anyone can travel right now anyway. It's more important for people to make sure they have their finances in order, maybe even start cutting back. The world is about to go into a recession and the points and miles game is going to have to go on the back burner.
Quite frankly, there are bigger opportunities about to open up. This pandemic going to cause a pivotal change in the economy. Once this wraps up it'll be a really good time to actually start a new business.
oh they are definitely going to do the same with personal cards! I can tell its already happening! be cautious amigos!
I got 3 new cards this past month so my score went down like 20 points 🥺😢
Just got approved last week for ink cash
The globe is moving again!!!
Glad to have most cards that I care to have. Everyone that was playing the game smart for the past 5 years or more pat yourselves in the back. This is what you were setting yourselves for. It wasn't just about the sign up points but long term value.
This sucks as I am just thinking about applying for my first Chase Business Card. Do you think I should hold off now, or there is no point in waiting since it will become more difficult as time goes by?
If we already have 2 out of the 3 Ink cards, do you think Chase will be more likely to approve an application for the 3rd and final card? Given a good track record of paying on time and in full. (As a sole proprietor)
Wow! I just got my Ink cash two weeks ago and Marriott biz(rip) a year ago for my sole proprietorship 😅 glad I don’t need to stress anymore. Four total biz cards in, i think im a have to wait a few months. Thank you for the video!
Glad I completed the sign up bonuses for all 3 ink business cards over the last 9 months. The 0% APR on the ink cash and ink unlimited have come in handy too.
If Chase takes away the option for some people to get the business cards, hopefully they will implement cards that are similar in earning categories like their business cards
Dustin whats going on bro! Glad to see you’re the first youtuber in this space to be on top of this. I can confirm with a datapoint of mine, a close friend was instantly denied this past weekend despite only being 3/24 and having 2 chase biz cards.

Yo Man. Thanks for the heads-up ! The wife and IR looking to Open up a Business checking account with Chase soon and apply for some business cards by June or so….. We currently have personal accounts and cards with OK limits……… We were hoping to each apply for Bussiness cards after a few months of opening the checking account. We sure hope Chase’s new plan don’t hurt our chances of getting some of their cards. Of course, we’ll be including AMEX in the mix 2 ! Thanks again
Well, there goes my chance at grabbing any Ink cards.
Does being a independent contractor (I.e. Uber or Lyft) count as a business?
It's funny that I asked you if you think credit issuers will loosen or tighten their rules on applications during your Saturday Happy Hour last month. You were right, they're tightening up before they loosen (if ever).
But that really sucks. I was planning on getting the Ink Unlimited in August. I already have the Ink Cash and Ink Preferred, a personal checking, but not business checking. As a freelancer, I actually have legit business revenues (and have the 1099 forms to back me up). But if I do get rejected, missing out on that 50,000 UR points will be a tough pill to swallow.
I can't wait to see more data points of people's new Ink applications and hear about their situations.
Slightly off topic, but I was planning on applying for the CSP next Sunday. I have a 718 FICO score and have the freedom, which I only got a month ago. Do you think I have a shot? My incomes ~40k
I keep applying for the Chase Ink card, but it keeps getting an error. Something like application unavailable at this time. I assume it is because I am applying from Tokyo. Even applied with my VPN set to USA, but again got the rejection. Uncertain what the problem is. Even called them, but even Chase have not a clue.
It was inevitable. With people losing their jobs and companies on the verge of going out of business, there is no reason for the banks to take on risky approvals.
Of course right when I decide to apply for this card, they become strict (4/17). I got denied for “business too new,” “not enough business credit information on file.”
I've been working my way up to get the sapphire reserve these past few months. Do you think chase will make it more difficult to get personal cards too?
My man Dustin! Thanks for the info! I've been sitting on the fence about getting a hotel card because of the high point offer or starting to go after the chase bus cards since I'm at 4/24 till 8/20.
I`m looking at the ihg card more than the hyatt card ( i could get that down the road when the offer is bigger). I've been dragging my feet to get the bus cards because my side hustle is really small, over the course of 20 years, annual profits have ranged from $0 to $12k depending on what im working on. I only have a GE tax license and no EIN. Any advice would be appreciated!
Wow I recently was approved 😮 but a friend of mine was rejected. Great info @wallerswallet
Hello American Express!!!
I’ve noticed they are not accepting applications unless you login to your account.
BOA shut down my Business CC and requested business paper and revenue before re-establishing my account. Its getting real!!
Data points?

I don’t understand Chase: they have 5/24 rule, paid out millions out for several years cos of savor card users, customers are cashing out points for cash and downgrading cards to no annual fee ones, their bank rates are low, just increased demands for mortgage loan requirements, and probably will pay out millions in PPP lawsuit, and now limiting business cards applications. Maybe not now, but these restrictions will one day hurt Chase business model.
Will buying giftcards at office supply stores set off red flags
I'm happy I applied for my Chase Freedom Unlimited when I did and I did that on a whim fully expecting a deniel and I got approved I got lucky, I'm sure they'll start tightening the applications on personal credit cards also.
My Setup right now is:
Chase Freedom Unlimited
Capital One Quicksilver
American Express Blue Cash Everyday
I'm glad that I won't have to be rushing to get my last card I want. If anyone does want a personal Chase card or your first one I'd apply now if You have a 700+
Hi so today I went on the Chase website and I applied for a Southwest airlines business card, my credit scores hover around 790-800 and they turned me down I called them and I asked them why and if there was anything I could say to them that would help and they told me that I was turned down because I do not have a Chase checking account basically which completely blew my mind and I told them that if that’s what they need now to approve credit cards that they should put it on their website so people will know not to bother applying
Yo Man. I just had 2 review your business Card video once again. LOL! Probably should have before I attempted 2 apply 4 our first Chase business card earlier today… What a long today, getting rejected and then calling the reconsideration line, only 2B informed that my personal credit and new business accounts checking account (50k) with Chase were fine. Chase rejected us because of the length of our business history was too short ? LOL! Yeah that why we decided to apply I hold the customer service person. We are a new business needing to separate expenses….. LOL! So…. just as I was prepared to change banks today… the encouraged me 2 try AMEX…. Approved 4 the AMEX Business GOLD !
I was curious if they were trying to weed people out, especially for small businesses. I wanted to get the ink preferred, but I got a small business and there’s no way I can hit that sign up bonus in three months! Hopefully their bonus criteria goes back within the year… Fingers crossed. However I did just get approved for the Sapphire preferred, so that’s exciting!
Chase doesn’t want to give credit cards, I’m more than happy to keep my very significant assets at other financial institutions.
Sad sad news just got into the chase game with the sapphire preferred, now wanted to move my (actual) business (self employed/not side hustle) into business credit.. but this dissuade me heavily
A little late, but I just applied for the Business Ink 100k SB. Got denied and immediately called the reconsideration line. Denied by the first person to help me. I was told he didn’t see where my business needed the card. Called back in 15 minutes got a new representative and was approved after a few questions.
i applied early July for the ink cash and was denied because they said i haven't been in business long enough. i put 01/2019 as my start date.
Do I have to have a chace business account to apply for a chace credit card
Yep….just got instantly denied applying for the Ink Cash Unlimited. I put the revenue for $500 and estimate date as this month. I have credit score in excellent range, although currently I only have the Amazon Prime credit card with Chase. Then I found this video….
