I was in the 90 day window and was disappointed when they told me I did not qualify for the bonus match. 20k UR points is a lot to miss out on.
I referred a friend, and they bumped the bonus literslly the day after from 60k to 80k. They wouldnt match it.
November 8th works perfect for me to apply for the CSP. Holiday gifts, beginning of the year insurance, and the best time to buy new tech.
I called before I even applied and asked if I get the 80K even though I used a referral which said 60K and the rep said they could match it. Called again after I got approved to make sure and now they said they cant.

This is going to be permanent. As more people make videos and share info on social media about matching offers, it starts to cost them more then they planned vs. just taking care of a small few savvy customers that call in.

Missing out on the 80k offer as I’m not eligible for SUB until 2021.
Interesting date. I received an invitation this week for the Chase Business Unlimited with an expiration date of November 9th. I'm well over 5/24 too.
If they intend to keep the CSP as is, I expect this 80K offer to circle back at some point. If they increase multipliers or add categories to revamp the card, I expect the 80K to also come back to offset the most likely to be increased AF.
We"'re experiencing the "tightening", I see this as the same with higher qualifications to get credit cards, AMEX lowering the number of cards you can have(This really sucks for me), and now Chase not matching bonuses. This is the new normal in our culture.

I sent a referral link to my sister and it’s only offering her the 60K offer? Is this what everyone is seeing? If so that is ridiculous… they are putting their customers in a position where they are screwing their friends and family over…
I asked for the bonus match myself and was also rejected – granted, I had already met the spend and my points had posted. That might have affected things. Still within the three-month range. Just a data point.

Still crossing my fingers and hoping Chase is doing this because they are planning to update their Sapphire cards. Also, their temporary bonuses are set to expire at the end of September (at least for the Sapphire Preferred).

I had got approved for the CSP then the 80k bonus dropped a week later and they didn’t match me and I didn’t even get the card yet at the time. Crazy lol

I think it will be temporary. After travel and hotel industries gather back steam, I think we will see it coming back. At least I hope so. But, that really sucks Chase is not matching anymore. If it is permanent, you really gotta pick and choose your application time. Take care Dustin and keep the family safe!
I got matched for my United Explorer just last week so you might be right about cobranded cards.
