i work for chase for 3+ years and i just want to say that its not worth the headache. there are other better banks out there that offers way better options both from the app and customer service wise. Chase is all about politics and less about their own customers.

Credit Shifu is living in 2022 while we’re all stuck in 2021.
Interesting, chase automatically changed my Slate card to a Freedom Unlimited card. So i thought it was completely gone.
I feel like this card is for them to battle capital one platinum now, they figured might as well grab more people by making a new card that targets new or people with lower credit. I wouldn’t mind getting this if it would help me upgrade it later in to freedom flex or freedom unlimited. Path to the chase ecosystem!!!
I kind of figured a card like this was coming.
I got approved right away yesterday. I applied with 762 and was approved for $3100 with 16% APR. Also, I have been banking with Chase since 2014 so that might have helped. The last credit card I opened was in 2018!
Good card for rebuilding credit, that's about it.
The banks seem to be really cracking down on balance transfers between the 0%apr period being reduced, and the balance transfer fee increase. Similar with the bank of america balance transfer card that used to have no balance transfer fee but now has one.

Can we upgrade this card into another card later? Like Freedom Flex or something? Maybe the Sapphire line? I'm new to the credit card game, would really appreciate the answer
Would this be a good card to build a relationship with Chase in order to move up to the flex/unlimited and so on?
Chase also wants all of your banking info from other banks, and utilities information from other credit storing companies! Very nosey but hey they will find many poor people!

I'd assume the 6 month limit for the bonus is to give people time to make a transfer and have some of the balance paid off by the time they are able to spend 500 without giving the utilization rate a huge bump to quickly

Would be a good idea to apply for this card if I previously had a chase sapphire reserved card and ultimately chase had to close it for late payments?
It wasn’t charged off. I payed the full balance. Its been about two years now and my credit score is about 700.

check your chase credit card frequently, chase bank will steal your money silently called 'purchase interest charge'

I already have a good credit score, I'm good about keeping my cards paid off.
I have a score in the high 700s, close to 800, should I even mess with this card? I was looking at using it to raise my score a little higher
