I really don't see the hype with this card. Outside of 3% dining the multipliers are pretty weak. This card seems to be best for using points, not earning them.

Ben does the Amazon visa from chase count in the 5/24 rule?

I applied for it last month while it was only 60,000 points. Is there a way to still get the 80,000 points after the fact?

If they give 100K points AND waive the first year fee, I am going to take it!

Is this applicable if you call within 90 days if you had gotten the card before 04/14/2022?

I might consider it if not for the 5/24 rule. I kinda think CSP is a mediocre card by itself because it doesn't do much for everyday spending. You almost have to get at least one Freedom card to make it worthwhile.

I got the card only a month ago when it was 60k, if I call will they honor this bonus for me ?

I would recommend to still apply in-branch as you get the first year waived šŸ”„

I recently applied for the Chase Sapphire in mid march 2022 for 60k points and a couple of days ago I seen on another channel that if you had the card for less that 90 days and Chase offers new updated higher points you can call customer service and get the new offer Can someone please confirm this ?

I have the 100k offer on the app/online Iā€™m really debating on getting it. Iā€™m 22 and wanted it since 19.

What I feel should have been mentioned, just a few months ago the offer was 100k points, much better than 80k points, AND the annual fee was waived for the first year when applying in branch. Also, the $50 credit has been around for a while, and it does not halve the annual fee…it merely takes $50 off a hotel stay that mostly likely will cost 3-4 times that, so it is VERY subjective whether that credit is of any benefit.

I just went into a Chase branch like a caveman that I am and I can confirm that the first year is still being waved for the CSP.
