Love my Ritz-Carlton card with similar benefits at a lower annual fee. Authorized user also gets their own Priority Pass at no extra cost with Ritz.

I literally applied for this card last week as I plan on traveling after the pandemic. I picked this card over the Amex mostly on the 0% foreign transaction and I know I have a path for a solid path to downgrade to the preferred.

The Lounge access/Restaurant credits are certainly a major perk! Hopefully travel will pick back up so people can start using the benefits! Great analysis of a great card!

Beware, back in April I cancelled a trip with my family due to the Pandemic and Chase said the trip insurance coverage is NOT covered as they have some language related to Pandemic where insurance coverage does not cover deposits. I worked with the hotel and they were able to hold my deposit until July 2021. CSR failed me.

I actually found a benefit called “the parking spot” where you get discounted to free parking at selected airports. I don’t know if this was a limited promotion or a regular benefit, but I never saw it again after I signed up and downloaded the app.

I still think this card is pretty trash for a $550 annual fee. I have the Amex platinum and would even consider getting the Citi Prestige over the CSR even without the travel protections. Unless you are running a dedicated Chase setup, this card is not worth it.

The best travel card for travel insurance. Primary rental car insurance, trip cancelation/delay, trip medical insurance, and lost luggage. Great for those flying out of snow delayed airports, San Francisco, Houston, New Orleans, and Miami.

Great video! I just saw where Chase, Air Canada and Mastercard are supposed to come out with a credit card next year. And by the end of 2021, Air Canada will be a Chase transfer partner.

This was a great card but I just canceled mine. Peloton absolutely garbage perk. I have 5 cards with Chase and they made now effort to retain my business. I called Amex on my Platinum and last week and I already received my $500 statement credit. Very weird how both Amex and Chase went about me canceling both cards.

Thanks man….. Very timely video! I believe I a month or so away from being able to upgrade from my CSP 2 the CSR…. I’m not sure how long Chase makes waits U wait before U can upgrade. My annual fee should hit in January. I dose appear that we would get great value from an upgrade even if we don’t travel much until the end of 2021. Perhaps, we might just wait until June in order to maximize all of the temporary benefits? We’ll see ! LOL! There, just might be a mad rush 4 available by June…. LOL!

I use the priority pass a lot when we travel, the 50% increase in points the card offers, door dash and btw thank you for reminding me about global entry every 4 years..plan to use that on our newborn son

DoorDash credit doesn’t require an activation correct? Anybody know?

Def getting this card again. I used to have it when it first came out but I miss it lmao. And I'm at 4/24 (1 away from the dreaded 5/24), so I need to save that slot for this. The increased $550 is ridiculous though, but I suppose if you actually use 90% of the benefits you'll be alright.

Nice breakdown Dustin on what to do when you get the card. My favorite benefit would actually be the primary rental car insurance. Keep up the awesome work. Take care and keep the family safe!

Is it possible to buy something worth 15000 dollars on this credit card on an online purchase from Amazon

If you’re active duty the $550 fee is waived on both CSR and AMEX Platinum. Thank God!

If I have a big expense coming up but I don't have any plan to travel can I apply for one of the Saphire cards and transfer the points to my Chase Freedom just to bag the point? And 3-4 year from now I can transfer them back to the Saphire card when I want to redeem them for hotel/flight?

So I know cruising counts as travel. But does spending while on the ship also count as travel or is it some other category that I should use a different card for?

How does the early check-in/late check-out work? Do you have to book thru the LHRC? How will the person at the front desk know you have the sapphire reserve and "qualify" for early check-in/late check-out?

Hi, if I am an AU for Sapphire Reserve, do I get my own priority pass ID card? or it is only exclusive to the principal cardholder? if an AU can hold his/her own priority pass ID card, can he/she bring unlimited guests as well?
