Chase Sapphire Reserve RETENTION OFFER, FREE Thanksgiving Dinner, HUGE Amex Offer, NEW United Offer – Waller’s Wallet

by YouTube Team

In this round up, we see something not normally offered by Chase. We see retention offers being given to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholder. Amex offers a huge Amazon amex offer which should be easy for many to hit. A nice United credit card offer for 2021, which can be valuable for United cardholders. Then we see Ibotta offer enough cash back rewards to help give people a free thanksgiving dinner, or pretty close to free.

Glad to announce I just called Chase and received a $150 retention offer for my CSR. Annual fee posted on 10/1. I also have only had the CSR since earlier this year when I upgraded in the Spring from CSP.

Is it possible to get retention on no annual fee card? Like amex blue biz?

Just called up Chase and received a retention offer of $150 bucks for my CSR. Having multiple accounts and dealings with chase sealed the deal 🙌🏽

I have seen a lot of posts on YouTube recently about the amazon offer. Is it something offered for the platinum card? I can’t find it in my offers section on Amex. I hope I get it 🤞

Just an fyi for users, the ibotta offers for walmart have a limited amount of uses. I went to the store a few days ago and the rebate for the fried onions and the gravy were used up. So the sooner you go the better.

Also just an fyi, to get your cashback with ibotta you need to rack up at least $20 in cashback

Really hoping that Amex is loosening up on the amount/frequency of retention offers this year now that Chase has decided to do so.

Started your video, stop it, called Chase, only got $150(won't budge for $250), re-started your video. I had been turned down twice before. I was going to downgrade to the Saphire.

United : Spend 20K for 20K miles, let me think,,,hmmmmmm " No thank you",,,,Chase can keep that red herring of a deal.

Completely unrelated to the video but something I recently discovered and thought I would share: so PayPal is a 5%/5x UR point category for Freedom/Freedom Flex this quarter, and that includes purchases made with the PayPal Key Virtual Credit card that route the charge back to the Freedom (Flex) card. I did that for some charitable donations, and the donations were actually eligible for the Pay Yourself Back benefit with a 25% point boost, the PayPal routing did not invalidate it. Just a little tip in case there is anyone out there who does charitable donations instead of materialistic gifts for Christmas.

I got 10K United miles using their Mileage X app for shopping on 5 partners. That's reasonable. Spending 10K to get 10K? Come on Chase/United!

AF posted on 11/1 – Spoke to multiple reps as well as the retention department twice. No-go on this end. Said there's an algorithm used and they didn't know what it was. Have 4 personal cards, 1 business card, business and personal checking and savings. Bummer.

after 3 yrs of 5/24 jail, I finally got a "Just for you offer" from Chase. I felt so special! A week later the United Explorer public offer came out WTH!?! IT was the same thing!?! Oh well, thank you for letting me know about the $50/quarter offer, I'm gonna use that to pay for an upgrade on our next two flights. Cha ching butta bing!

If at first you don't succeed, try and try again! Even if it takes an hour of cumulative phone calls, that's still netting $250 an hour!

Thanks for the news Dustin. Those Amex offer are pretty awesome lately. And the statement credit on the Reserve is sweet too. Take care and keep the family safe!

i wouldn't actually call it a retention offer – i didn't have to even say anything about keeping my card nor be transferred to the retention team. either way, everyone should be calling to see what they can get from these folks!
