The option to add family members has disappeared from Chase’s online system. This is an important part of the Chase Trifecta which is one of the most popular credit card combinations. The cards earn ultimate rewards points and you can transfer between your own cards as well as those of your family.

If only my family would believe in the points game!!!!
Just like that, Chase wants to not be first in the game. 🤷♂️
Wtf? First they ruin the Sapphire Reserve and now they want to ruin the point transfer system. Chase is destroying their own business
For the algorithm.
Ooo hell no
Doing basic tasks via phone = not cool 🤦♂️
CSP has a 100k point offer as of today.
Hey, I'm early
Sheesh! I thought you were going to say we can’t transfer points between our own cards. Glad that’s not the case!
Great video 👍🏻
Damn bro, you're Chase Reward Points poor.
Thanks for the video. Also appreciate that you are providing extra content and personalized advice. I would like to join, but pricing is a bit high. Just looking at it from a points perspective, $35 per month would negate $3500 of my monthly points in spend (a big share).
Just giving a little feedback. I'm a big supporter and appreciate what you do.
Should I bother getting into my first chase card or just get the Amex business blue plus since I have the gold
For manually adding, is it by family member, or by each card?
Can you transfer your points to the same partner account regardless of the chase account? For example can me and my wife transfer points to the same Emirates account even though we aren't in the same "chase household"?
Just to be on the safe side, everyone should add each other now.
But you can still pool between your own cards right ?
Very helpful info Ben. I didn’t know that there were any airlines awards programs with a family joint point feature? I’ll have 2 look in that. RU aware of any other airlines program with a similar feature? I just was approved 4 an AA CARD last week.
I bet this ruins the chance to transfer to non "household" family members. For example, I have been able to add my dad -same last name, same city, doesn't raise any concerns. But, I imagine when you call in, they verify it's someone in the same address.
Thankful I added him before this concern.
Bit of info from banker, known issues with online and app right now and several features are missing for some users. They'll be rolling out a fix in the near future.
Can you do this with Amex?
I actually got a maintenance notification from chase when trying to log into my account on my phone two days ago, so I really don’t think it’s anything other than just tinkering with the website
I’m single🤷🏽♂️😂
The thing that bothers me about Chase a statement on the point guys website is the word currently. I am thinking that eventually this will be removed and you can no longer transfer points between family members.
I am an authorized user on 4 of my girlfriend's credit cards & I am paying 2 of them off.
Got the Target one down to $300 from $400 & the Bank of America credit card down to $131 from $450.
We are NOT going to charge on any card until they are all paid off, including mine.
I paid out over $400 this month to pay down cards and my catalog accounts as well.
Any update guys????
Sharing points between family was the factor that led me to a Chase system over AmEx or others. Sure hope this isn't going away. Thanks for the great info
