Lame that priority pass gets in too. No advantage for Sapphire reserve or preferred cardholders
Where did you see Chase saying they want to compete against the Centurion Network?
Pumped for SAN! Would have like to see something in Terminal 1 but hopefully a lounge will come with the remodel/expansion.
My strategy is going to get CSP higher bonus and use AMEX Plat for all lounge access.
Hell ya, cant wait for them to open, never been to a lounge yet
Allowing Priority Pass is a mistake. The Lounges will end up being way too crowded.
They should honestly make it a sapphire card exclusive,
I honestly don’t see why they should let in pass holders in cause then it will get crowded
Chase has a play up their sleeve. They will probably pull a we bought priority pass and all their lounges. Like they did with Hyatt, United and SW.
Amex and Capital One probably know this hence why the extensive lounges being built.
Great video Ben! I wish they would open one in my home airport (Austin, TX) but that may be a long time coming. One can dream!
Granted the Club LAS is small but I have felt it has best food and customer service for a PP lounge. Secondly, LGA Centurion Lounge has been my favorite.
Cool video!
hopefully in LAX soon ~
Does the CSR get you priority pass though?
This is the perfect time to start practicing losing money through paper trading on Webull!
Cant wait for San Diego lounge
Hey! If you want to do another video on lounges Orlando airports terminal c will be opening up a Plaza premium lounge this September, There isn't a lot of info on it yet, but there is some.
For lounges, Chase really needs to get a relationship with either DragonPass or Plaza Premium Lounge operator, as Canadian premium cards issuers did. After they left Priority Pass network, on this continent Priority Pass became pretty much useless. This will put Chase so far ahead of the competition and near them to Amex Platinum (which has separate relationship with Plaza Premium lounge network).
Considering the Chase/Southwest partnership, I think they would do better to target Southwest hubs or terminals that have few if any lounges like MDW, or at my home airport having something close to the C/D area would be great as even though there is a Centurion it's a 20 minute hike each way so a lot of times it doesn't make sense. MCO would also be great. Despite the two the Clubs, the tram system and their awful security lines, going to a different terminal for a lounge means risking missing your flight.
So the AmEx Plat wins again
I had a lot of opportunities to go to the Centurion Lounge at LGA, but eating at the Wendy's has become my pre flight ritual.
I just got approved for a centurion platnium card so i hope the exclusive centurion lounges and the perks are worth the annual fee. I mean my family does travel out of country at least once a year.
shame that we don't have any Chase lounges in London.
Bruh they announced this in January
No LAX 😤😤
A line 🤨you meant a queue mate
Chase is going about it the right way… there’s too many companies trying to ride the coat tails of American Express’ prestige but it makes them come off as posers because they don’t even come close to matching their level of quality and service… they have a black card though. Chase is actually giving them a little friendly competition and a run for their money which is a credit to their own name and a nice change of pace for the service industry. I still lean towards the American Express tier on account of them never going out of the way to obtain me as a customer. Everyone else’s aggressive advertising campaigns imposing all that junk in the mail makes them seem too needy. American Express’ reputation proceeds them. To this day I still remember being ten years old and my old man flashing their gold card in a Red Lobster like a credit warrior.
So CSR concedes victory to Amex Plat for high-spend cardholders who want more exclusive lounge access (?). Okay, I'll stick with Amex🙃
