Love your content! So if you get these cards (unlimited and preferred) within a few months of each other do you not get the bonuses on both chase cards. Or is that one bonus for 24 months on the same card?
Could you just simplify to CSP/R & Flex?isn’t he only loss a .5 percent on everything? But then you only have to carry one card and use the flex to buy gift cards quarterly.
Hopefully someone can help… If i have the chase trifecta with the CSP where can I downgrade to?
trifectas are so overrated, don't fall into this trap
I've watched many reviews and being loyal to a certain bank does not work best…. you need to understand what card works best with what category and use that…. for me
AMEX Platinum – international travel for 5x
Sapphire preferred – car rental for primary insurance and welcome bonus
US Bank Altitude go – 4% cash back on all dining
Barclays Jetblue plus or Chase Southwest – for domestic travel
Hiltons Honors surpass – for staying at Hilton hotels on a gold status and weekend certificate
Chase Freedom flex – for everyday spending
Ink business preferred – ideal for overseas purchases (Rolex, jewelries, etc)
Remember that Freedom cards are “No” design. The premium tiers are “Yes” design

So I’m new at this—would the idea be to apply for 2-3 of the cards all at once? How do you downgrade the CSP to one of the others if you already have them?
2 things to be very careful with chase travel: 1. for some itineraries (I've noticed for many hotels and also many international flights esp domestic international e.g. uk to mainland europe), the rates shown to you on chase travel are much higher than on competing OTAs or directly from merchant (sometimes as high as 25% more than rate shown on competing OTA). 2. getting a refund, even where protected by consumer protection laws in your country (eg US DOT rules for cancelled flights where flight originates or terminates in the US), getting a refund of your ticket value in points or cash will require filing a complaint with the relevant government authority. One additional note is that changing a ticket booked through chase travel requires a call to them. Can't do it in-app or on web or by chat.

Include CI card and get 5% for internet, phones, cable, office supplies, 2% for gas.
Chase's rewards customer service is dogshit.
FYI. I have a Flex with 5x in groceries the first year. I can confirm that the grocery Q3 quarterly category is in addition. I used it at the grocery store and got 9x! 1x + 4x + 4x.
If you have chase freedom unlimited and sapphire preferred, what purchases would you use your sapphire card on? The freedom unlimited has better rewards when it comes to travel, dining, and all other purchases.
Can I apply for the Freedom Flex if I have the original Freedom card? i.e. can I have both at the same time?

For the points I earn on the freedom cards, am I supposed to transfer those points onto the CSR to get the most benefit? Or just use them on the freedom card's rewards portal?
