Derek wants to complete with the big boys on the strip. Not likely to happen unless he takes a page out of Benny Binnon’s playbook. Only way downtown casinos can overcome the glitzy strip properties is by offering better tables games and food bargains. Sports book can only go so far. Pool is only open during the summer. New rooms will lose their luster very quickly. His recent free one way flights to Las Vegas was a promising first volley. Looking forward to seeing what is next.
Sadly the opening dates will probably change due to the virus…
Thanks for sharing an update on the construction of Circa.
FYI – If you go up to one of the top floors of the Plaza Hotel, then go to the Northeast end and open the exit door. It leads to a little balcony that looks down on Circa's pool area. You could get some great shots from up there!
Due to all this virus pandemic Vegas is way too overbuilt not many people to satisfy the economy as it is and to build more just makes the problem greater,Vegas is in trouble.
Great video Shawn! I just watched your Travellodge, MGM Grand and New York, New York video first, now the Circa. Great job filming and narration. Little things like I've never ridden the roller coaster in NY, NY yet so I never knew it goes inside and above the cobblestone restaurants in the casino and the high roller mansions at MGM. I appreciate your history not only living there but also employment, hobbies (gaming where Marshalls is now) etc. How about some good eateries, Shawn? Maybe like your favorite places. Derek from All You Can Vegas is just too goofy now that he's a big star. Norma the new youngster is great because she appears spontaneous, unedited and honest. And of course Bill and Lisa are wonderful. LOL
One thing I didn't recall hearing on this Circa video is that Derek and his brother Greg Stevens own the Circa, The D, Golden Gate. Not bad since just arriving in Las Vegas in 2006 from Motor City, Detroit, Michigan.
Well I look forward to watching more of your videos but for right now, it's time to get to get back to work.
Thanks again and keep up the good work.
Nice video thanks #california
WELL HOPE it works out, Vegas looks empty LOCALS ARE EXTREMELY SCARED FOR our valley,
