Citi is the worst bank i've ever deal with..for instance the way to get your ATM pin code is only by an old fashion normal mail i offer them to charge me for overnight so i can get a tracking number but they refuse they just send a white plain envelope with no name or address so once it reach the mail room their policy can not open any package so it will be destroyed…Moreover the way to login to your account is lack of email option to get the verification codes so once i'm outside US i never use my US number cus it will charge me a lot of money therefore there left me with no option to login to my account …what a stupid old fashion bank 👎🏻
In your thumbnail you look deep in thought. "Chicken or steak, tonight?"
hmm… I was told by citi that a visa cannot be changed into a MasterCard.I tried changing my Costco card into citi prestige and I was told that wasn't possible. Wonder if that rep just didn't know?
For the Citi ThankYou Premier, can I keep the card for 24 months, apply for the Citi Prestige, close the Premier after getting approved for the Prestige, and then get the bonus on the Prestige?
Love the volume of content you are putting up Dustin!!! Keep it flowing and you'll get major subscribers.
It would be easier to hear you with a mike that didn't pick up all the room echoes.
I have the AA from citi. Can I convert that to double cash within a year to avoid the annual fee? Would that damage my relationship with them?
Fan of yours, not a fan of CITI. I do have their Double Cash which is my catch all card on the few times I don’t have a card that gives me better rewards. Would never use CITI as a travel card, just don’t see much use for them anymore.
Never considered Citi before and probably won't in the future. Nothing against the bank, I just feel between Chase and Amex I am good.
Very useful info Dustin. I'm not quite sure how popular Citi is now that they have nerfed all their products. Let's hope for the future that they change their tune on other features/benefits.
Unrelated question, but I'm considering downgrading the Delta Business Reserve, skipping the Delta Platinum, and jumping down to Gold. This would eliminate my status with Delta, mainly costing potential upgrades, and 2nd bag free, as well as the companion pass. We fly 2-3 times year, usually outside companion pass territory, one being with extra luggage. I figure if I have to spend 50K X 1.5 X 1.2 Cents to get $900 in Delta Miles, I could also put the same spend on the Amex Business Platinum for 50K X 1.5 X 1.5-2 Cents for $1125 – $1500, and saving $150 on the Delta Card's annual fee. I mainly do not like the changes to the Delta Cards, typically don't use the companion pass, and the upgrades are disappearing with the option to pay with miles. We have $300 a year in airline incidentals, which I predict luggage would cost $120 – $200 a year. Would you do the same?
The 48 month rule only applies to when it was opened and when an account is closed will have no bearing? So, if you opened 3 years ago and closed today you would only need to wait 1 additional year?
Merry Christmas to you and your family Dustin. This is great info, especially because I'm looking right now to set up a Citi ecosystem to diversify my points. At this point for me though I'm almost tapped out on keeper cards, so I am applying for cards in various order from all 4 issuers Cap1/Chase/Citi/AmEx. My question is would Citi enforce their "8" and "65" rules to applications to other banks? Or will that be more based on the standard factors like # of inquiries and credit score, and maybe Chase's 5/24, etc
as for the 1/8 rule, does it have to be 8 business days or 8 days in general ?
today I got approved for the citi bank credit card, my question can I apply for citi bank Best Buy card on the same dat ? thanks
Is that a MOVA GLOBE?! 👍🏻
I just wanna make sure you mention that I would get decline if I have 6 hard pulls in the past 6 months ??? And of any kind?
Very informative video. Thank you.
Any idea on what Citi requires as a minimum FICO?
Late to this video….I'm considering the Citi Premier
Thank you for all the information. You are awesome bro
