I didn't know about the Bank of America Premium card, even without this trick, it's still a negative effective annual fee. I've opened too many cards recently, but maybe next December I'd get this.

I hadn't thought about the Prestige travel credit being able to be triple dipped. I got it a few months ago, though I can still get the credit twice, which is $500, offsetting the annual fee, even excluding all the other benefits. I'm not sure it's worthwhile long term, but the year one value is incredible.

Thanks for the video, I'll definitely need to keep this in mind next December.

I got an offer for that same Hilton card with the 10x multiples. It's the zero annual fee version though. I think I'm going to get it before the year is over.

Thinking about getting the Amex gold since I have a targeted 75k offer. Is it possible to use the 2020 airline credit if I'm not planning on flying until next year?

How does triple dip work? How can you get 2022 credits in just one year with the card opening in 2020?

I'm surprised Amex hasn't clawed back any of those travel bank credits. I'm assuming it's fair game?

The Citi Prestige in December looks nice. Get the sign-up bonus, $250 credit, another $250 credit in January, and the hotel credit for a week long vacation. All in year 1.

Does the $250 Aspire air credit have to be split up in $100 deposits when depositing in the United Airlines Travel Bank?

Probably holding off end of this year, because I'll fall back under Chase 5/24 in May if I can resist for 5 more months …

Great information as usual. 👍🏼 But my question (or concern) would be wouldn't the card issuers (especially amex!) have the option to claw back the credits used in year 3 if you try to cancel or downgrade??

Dustin, do you know of any good rewards DEBIT cards besides Discover? The fees are changing soon with paying rent for me (with the credit card fee increasing and the debit card fee decreasing).

Alternatively, does PayPal Key code as a debit card everywhere or was it just with Plastiq?

I feel like a lot of people are rooting for Citi to step their game up. Chase and AMEX are good but haven't done anything truly groundbreaking in years. Citi should put the spotlight on themselves and elevate/redesign the Prestige.

Another great vid wall-dog ! Once we put funds into the united travel bank, can we transfer or use those funds on ANA? I was thinking of transferring my 100,000k MR platinum SUB to ANA for a Tokyo trip sometime in the future and it would be cool if I could also transfer united travel banks funds. Not sure if that is allowed.

I applied on 11/29. But just receive a statement period ended 12/11 with the annual fee. Is that normal?
