Do you have any smart home upgrades that you recommend? I'm always looking for new and creative upgrades. 🤓
I love Wyze. I am really into smart home products. I would suggest people also look into SwitchBot, and switchbot’s new smart curtain to assist in Away modes for when people travel. I also really love automating my robot vaccum. If people are looking for an assistant for their smart home, I suggest buying a Sonos One speaker instead, it is much more expensive, but it supports both, Amazon Alexa and Google Home as well as Siri integrations, so it keeps you from being locked down to one home assistant. Warning that sonos products are addictive though.
Some options:
Great video. Some of my home smart upgrades I've enjoyed:
1) Smart speaker for voice commands (especially for a routine that executes several steps after you give one command). Would suggest either Amazon Echo or Google Home systems (currently the Siri ecosystem doesn't seem to be as robust for a smart home controlled by voice)
2) Smart thermostat.
3) Smart light bulbs.
4) Smart garage door opener.
Using a smart speaker, control the smart thermostat/bulbs via voice commands, phone/tablet app or website. A smart garage door opener is a bigger investment but it's nice being able to remotely control/check the garage door, or simply program it to auto-close after X-minutes.
Thanks. Definitely recommending a password manager as most people have a least 50 passwords.
I’ve got a number of Wyze devices at home. They’re great products at a great value, from great group of ex-Amazon engineers who founded the company.
what password manager do you use? at 7:49 is it safe to carry all that info on your phone?? what happens if you lose your phone?
