The Credit Shifu December 23, 2021 - 10:28 pm

NOTE: I could have included the new Aeroplan card from chase in this video but since the bonus is technically free flight vouchers that may be worth 100k depending how you use them, I left it out. There is also the basic Hilton card at 130k, but since Hilton points are worth so little, I left it out. (And it seems its targeted)

Happy holidays, Ben! The Hilton Honors vanilla card should be right up there with the other Hilton cards in terms of a value…currently 100K for 1K spend then 50K for additional 4K spend (total of 5K spend within 6 months) – for $0 annual fee. That's $750-$900 in value. No brainer if you stay with Hilton.

Did/can you make a video about the 10% back anniversary credit?

Update: I did some looking and it seems like the 10% is more like 1%. The example they give is 2,500 points for $25,000 in spend so at the usual rate that’s only $25.00. Would love to see what you think.

My platinum car only hit me with a 550 renewal. Is that normal? It just posted this month.

Max rewards is great, but the $30/month price tag is a bit hefty for the premium subscriptions perks IMO.

Most of the platinum perks are useless if you don't live in NYC. No thanks.
