Have faith that our moral impulses overlap sufficiently such that you needn't apply rhetoric to get us to agree. I actually think you know that, and suspect you're just showing a little bit of fatigue. This single fucker managed to do a whole lot of harm. Lol, THIS IS WHY math teachers want to teach math in a way that requires sociality for success. Everyone is afraid of the lone genius who is not loyal. Lol. To be genius is to be disloyal. But typically, geniuses are not self-destructive in this way. Where did he imagine this would go? That hole in his ideation doesn't scream "genius" to me. And this is also good, because it reminds us that people can be good at one thing and it doesn't mean they are even minimally competent at anything else. I use to believe otherwise, but I was younger. Our faculties are more broken up and discrete and non-homogenously distributed than we imagine, usually.

This whole avalanche has ruined my life. my life savings were in blockfi and ftx and now with some emergencies in my family i suddenly needed to pull out and everything’s locked.. I now need to drop out of college and quit playing baseball for my school to get a job and even then i might go into debt and ruin the credit score i have worked on for years…. heart broken

Brian, thank you for taking the time to make these updates. I’m not invested in FTX but I’m getting angry at the greed of these people. I would like to know what political effects he caused and what representatives benefited from his sick game with peoples money. Then we should have the FBI and Secret Service look into those persons and what knowledge they had. People need to go to federal prison over this. If the current administration won’t look into it; how can we trust them to implement regulations that are supposed to protect us. I can understand wrong place, wrong time. Coincidence? Coincidence to this effect takes a lot of planning and he couldn’t have pulled it off on his own. He’s just not that smart. To anyone who lost with FTX my heart goes out to you; and I hope you do find some restitution from SBFraud.
