I stayed at vdara back when it first opened and it still looks the same. I liked it but updates and remodels are always nice. Nice to have no smoking.
I have a gold card for cerser card for ballys & flingio & harris & how about momtrell stops too open
Reserve is imho the best travel card but, that offer is outstanding for the sapphire version. I got 100k from sign up on the reserve.
I’ve paid $50 to park at laker games
Teslas idle?
Lmao. Waikiki hotels charge up to $900 week on “fees”. God have mercy on us if vegas finds out. We have a “tree fee” $5/week. 😃😃😃
Parking is 45$ for Patriots games here in Mass.
The average parking in London is about $12.47 per hour, which is the 2nd most expensive in the world!!( No1 New York) I guess parking is a money spinner wherever you are in the world!!🇬🇧
My prediction: Someday more Indian tribes will own Vegas properties, than corporates.
Agreed on the Parking at the stadium. most really large stadiums worldwide use public transportation and offer no parking. Completely the wrong direction for parking for the next 100 years. But its good for public transportation.
Raiders ownership still wearing their masks. Thanks for the info guys.
The Las Vegas Raiders parking rates are pretty much on par with most NFL teams. The ticket prices for the game are way too expensive, primarily because so many seats are bought by the various casinos and other businesses, plus many are sold on the secondary market. The average fan has been priced out of attending NFL games in many cities, so it’s not just Las Vegas. At least in Vegas you have a lot of hotels, restaurants and bars near the stadium. I am curious how the tailgating by Luxor goes. The ticket prices may go down in a few years if the Raiders don’t start winning.
Unpopular opinion: if I’m staying on the Strip, I don’t want – or need – a car. Part of staying on the Strip is walking, site seeing and people watching. If out late at night or drinking, cabs are fine. Normally during our trips we will buy a 3-day RTC bus pass: good for a downtown trip, visiting Orleans or Gold Coast and those hot days getting up and down the Strip. Plus, the bus provides lots of free entertainment. 😁 I would only get a rental car if staying somewhere like Red Rock Station and exploring more.
$12 million for that land near Mandalay Bay is a steal! No, it won’t become a parking lot. I could see the tribes building a mid-size casino and a small hotel tower, similar to Gold Coast, with some family-friendly elements like a pool, reasonably priced restaurants and a movie theater.
Another excellent video, looking forward to your coverage of the Resorts World opening!
Did Mainstreet Station re-open?
I was about to comment on the San Manuel snafu, but I saw the correction. As an Inland Empire resident, the San Manuel tribe is our pride and joy.
Here in phx parking is 30 to 50 around the stadium but its really tailored to tailgaters and theres a to on bars and restaurants in the west gate as well as a mall and a casino walking distance away.
You guys have the best credit cards in the US, don't suppose any of those are available in Canada? Lol Great show thanks guys!
Great job Guys! I really agree with you Mark on these properties are trying to make back the money they lost during the Pandemic, but they can make it up with folks gambling, eating, dining and drinking; no need to nickle and dime everyone to death! Can't wait to see your tour of Resorts World, Shawn! CAB😊
Average $70 per parking space??? That's insane. Uber/Lyft or even TAXI there and have money left over for drinks and snacks. 🙄
Never stayed at Vdara before. Parking for Cleveland browns games, where I tailgate, is $25. I wouldn’t be surprised to see CET/Mlife get rid of free parking for diamond/gold tier status members on the sundays the raiders are at home.
Mtm, do you know if buffalo Bill's is going to open back up, or are they permanently closed?
Fleecing ?? Apparently the sheep are happy to pay 75.00. Parking. Yes I said it if the public is paying it they will happily take the $$$. Btw. All casino comps are PRE PAID not free….
No free meals no free rooms & no free parking.
Me: googles 'travel hacking' 🤔
Me: broke 😭
Saludos Bro. Nos vemos en Septiembre en la pelea de Canelo
i stayed @ Vdara in Sept 18 and was pleasantly surprised…yes the decor is a little dated but the limited amount of time spent in the room makes that a non issue…cleanliness, size of the room, view make up for the decor…btw i was also given a fountain view as a no charge upgrade…
I have watched your show for months with my son and husband. I enjoy your reviews and the camaraderie you two share. Your candid conversation is a breath of fresh air. I look forward to watching each week.
Great information. Thanks for sharing.
Parking at AT&T stadium for Cowboys games starts at $125 and goes up to $225. Ridiculous pricing, but people pay it.
Love getting updates about Vegas from you guys. Mark can be a bit of a debbie downer though.
As an older guy I don't find the Vdara decor dated. But I'll stick to Caesars for their Diamond rates. I have CSP and have to wait another 2 years to get the bonus again. One of the best benefits for me is 1st party coverage on rental cars. I may stay at Resorts World in the future as I have Hilton "resort" credit from the Aspire card. Also will do the Wynn status match.
Vdara does have rooms for resale on the condo market.
