Love the change, makes total sense to make it full food and if you want travel get the platinum
I LOVE having $25 of Uber per month(Plat and Gold)
So are saying you can stack Uber credits from different credit cards and use them at one time.
Would be nice to see the Dining Credit work with Uber Eats in addition to Grubhub
Ordering 40 spicy chicken nuggets in the middle of the night, risky 😂
I am honestly starting to hate these monthly "credits" that you have to pay in advance for. The only reason I am keeping my Gold card for another year is a 20K points no spend retention offer, which I cashed out with Schwab to get exactly $250. Next year I will go with Blue Cash Preferred + BoA Premium Rewards for regular spends and Hilton Surpass for occasional travel. I never liked the concept of "effective annual fee" – to me these dining/uber/airline credits are merely "unnecessary perks" that come with the card, rather than fee reducers. And maybe I am just being cynical here, but these really are meant to remind customers to use the card at least once a month and Amex is counting on people (a) to forget about these credits and (b) overspend beyond the $10. Same thing as the wireless/streaming credits, they are counting on people switching these recurring charges to Amex cards and forget about them beyond 2020.
I hate monthly installment BS. With the incidental fee I could always make use. If it was a strait 120 or accumulative it would be good so that I would use the few times i use Uber. I wish their business offers were more diverse as well not all businesses revolve around office products and package shipping.
My CSR codes the food I buy at my jobs cafeteria as dining and I get 3x back. AMEX however codes everything I buy as just, well my jobs name. I called them to address this and they said it's specifically for restaurants so I won't get the 4x back. So now I use my CSR card to buy cafeteria food, which is where I do most of my food purchases besides the supermarket. Do what works for you, yeah AMEX says this, and Chase says that, but in the end just go with whoever is giving you more bang for your buck.
I miss the goofy outro’s.
The restaurants are not trying to screw you, its because they are getting screwed by these delivery app companies that charge the restaurants 30%+. So its the delivery app companies that are screwing customers by killing off mom and pop restaurants. I know its convenient but mom and pop shops cant cover the fees like chain restaurants can. Please visit your favorite small business directly or order through the restaurants sites directly if possible so small businesses can survive. (I have many friends that own restaurants that are getting pummeled by these delivery app services so i feel so bad for them when customers are blaming the restaurants for the higher fees!)
In a previous video you were talking about an unbranded clothing website and now I can't find it, HELP!!
Sadly this doesn't help me since Uber Eats does not deliver to my house
how did people get -1600 in telephone prepayments?

Wait a second…..65 dollars for one meal? Talk about first world problems.
3:16 – I am the side of the "I liked the Airline Incidental fee credit". I used this credit easily flying JetBlue down to San Juan, PR before my cruise (before the world came to a stand still). Since I don't have status with Delta Airlines (main carrier, Jet Blue had a non-stop flight I used) and I downgraded my AMEX Delta Gold to a Delta Blue, I need for a way to pay the luggage fees. 5:50 – Good point and I agree with that point of view from a marketing strategy standpoint. (8:05) It is still a bad thing for me because I live where Uber does not operate in (ride share or UberEats). It will raise my effective annual fee for the AMEX Gold. I will still keep the card, because the point earning is still better than anything else in the long run. The up side is that it will make using any other airline fee credit for other high end cards (Platinum or Hilton Aspire) easier to use and therefore offset the higher annual fee there.
hey Sebby! Just curious If you get the personal green/gold card … and you can’t cancel before one year or they will pull the points … aren’t you effectively paying 150×2 for the green card or 250×2 for the gold card? Unless u do a downgrade path to the blue and that would still be 150+95 or 250+95?
I love your channel and watch all your vIdeos. I am looking for a “eating out” cc, and AMX green is at the top of my list right now. Can’t do the deliver apps thing, don’t want these weirdos touching my food, I’m good with the delivery guy if they work at the place, idk why just seems more legit. So, thanks for all the great entertainment and advice, love the channel!
meh hate that its become a food card, I cook and dont order food but also DON want to spend 550 for Plat :/
So does that mean I would have to get the gold card by the end of the year in order to have the Uber credit added? $340 total credits is enticing for the $250 annual fee for 2021
Sebby dawg!!! You the man now 🙌🏼 I just nabbed this benefit and it seems today is the last day. So hurry folks, you’ve got until Midnight January 2nd
AU’s have their own offers
Hi, how do you use the uber cash credit? Is it the same as the dining credit. Like you use the app to buy the food and they'll reimburse you $10 back in your credit?!
recently got my amex gold. am ok to pay utilitly bills with this card??
I'm wondering if you could enroll in one year-long Eats Pass and then, as it's about to expire, enroll in another card's one-year Eats Pass…
amex makes my uber visa feel even more worthless lmao.
