Airline miles offer great opportunity to save money traveling. And when it comes to United Airlines, American Airlines, and Delta Airlines, these programs have moved towards dynamic pricing. So we look at the value of these airline miles for economy and business class flyers. Also why these miles may not be as good of options as flexible credit card currencies like Chase Ultimate Rewards, or even Cash Back.

Very helpful video brother🙌🙌🙌
I’m missing those mileage-based award charts 😆✌️ Appreciate ya making this video on the new revenue/dynamic charts ✈️
just downgraded my Delta Amex Gold to The Blue. Just used it for the SUB and got 70k Delta points and $100 delta gift card for $2k min spend back in Jan 2020.
It sounds like if you are sitting on a lot of MR points, it is probably better to cash them out via Schwab at 1.25 cent and go cash? AA sound a little more value while United is all over the place.
I remember back in June-Oct of 2019, you could easily find Delta flights using points getting 1.7-2.1 CPP. #DeltaDevaluation
Great video. I fly to Africa and Asia for work and Delta used to be of great value but in the past couple of years, America has simply destroyed them.
Good analysis. I like the United options for Europe. I like Delta overall for everything else. I'll do American on niche short flights.
Delta, but that's mainly because they're the only airline I've flown in 4 years.
Best out of the three to transfer 80k amex points ?
Thank you for these videos. so much more helpful than other you tubers just going to Doctor of Credit and reading out the latest news. Your diligence helps us a great deal
I think American Airlines is the best because u can get a 8k flight from abu Dabi to London for 60k miles
I did the exact same thing for Delta domestic economy out of PHX (targeting June) a few weeks back and found the CPP to be between 1.1 to 1.8. Same average you got at 1.4 CPP. Not as bad as you would think based on all the hate Skymiles get. On another note, was able to get 11 CPP on United miles using available biz saver on an international flight between LAX and ICN for fall.
I remain loyal to Delta for 4 reasons:
1. Domestic comfort class
2. Obtainable status through credit card spend
3. Companion pass and 1.5X on the Delta Bus Platinum (I only spend with 5K purchases)
4. Sky Lounge access with the Amex Platinum
Thanks 4 your very timely airline rewards card review. I have been on the fence about which card to start with. We have miles rewards with United, American, Delta and Alaska! LOL! Chase just sent me one of those…. UR already approved offers for both United and Southwest. LOL! The 70K rewards bonus from UA is looking pretty sweet ! But, American currently allows you to get fee first bag checked even if you didn’t book using their card…….. Both Chase offers to end on 1/13/21, but, I just might pass, because we won’t be flying until the end of the summer or at lease until the vaccines at available!!!
Great video. Very informative as always.
Outstanding video! appreciated all the work that went into this one.
Hey Mr. Waller! You are Great Guy! Keep up the good work! 👍🏾👍🏾
What about alaska airlines for their international partners ?
AS ALWAYS….solid video. Waller for Points President!
FYI me and my buddy call delta miles "冥币“ in Chinese, basically means the fake cash that is burned for the deceased to spend😂😂.
Not related to this video, got my altitude reserve today and it's the new vertical design!
Excellent video man! Back in 10/2020 I found a unicorn international bus class UA flight at 11.6 cpp HNL-MLE, but, wifey said "Hell No!!" because the 3 layovers were more than a total of 40+ hrs. Haha, i was like, well we could check out all of the airport lounges and stay in a hotel airside of security hehe, I ended up booking a flight for 6.7 cpp at half the travel time still my best redemption so far! Most domestic flight redeems 1.3 to 1.8 cpp as high as 4.7 if you're lucky. HA inter island is about 1.1 to 1.3 cpp as low as 0.3 cpp to as high as 2.8 all depending on where and when
Every once in awhile I think about signing up for the Chase United Business card. Then I go on Youtube to do some research about the card and I leave unimpressed.
Thanks for the hard work and research for this video Dustin. I think American is my favorite. I actually received that 2.3 cents per point on the Hawaii booking. It was nice while it lasted. Take care and keep the family safe!
Dude, it must have taken so long to consolidate and analyze this information. Thank you for taking the time to make the video, love your content!
Amazing video as usual, thanks for making this video it helped a lot. No matter how good AA value is, i don't think i will fly with them again just because they have a really bad customer service. And lately i have been gettinf 1.6 CPP to 2.2CPP on SW. Still waiting in that ANA video btw 😉
Then you have the last Dinosaur, Alaska. Kind of similar to American BUT more value per “mile” in general. Then you have the stopover which puts its value over the top!
Great video on the big three WW!
Gotta go with United.. Because that's the only one the list that has my local airport as a hub.
I love America Airlines, but looking to expand my offer.
Good stuff!
Another excellent video with very helpful content
I'm researching my first airlines card/points program so videos like this are valuable. Thank you!
You miss the point, pun intended. The big factor is saver business class awards for international travel. For example, even with flexible dates for travel to southern Europe from the U.S. , redeemed 10 months out, it was 140,000 Skymiles for less convenient dates to 320,000 miles for convenient dates. That's EACH WAY!. It's like that all the time, anywhere. Meanwhile AA wanted 57,500. My almost 290,000 DL award miles were useless for round trip travel for two, but my 1,000,000 AA miles left me with plenty more.
