So that 5% becomes 7.5% when the points are used to pay off grocery charges on the Sapphire Reserve for example.

Now the deal is only on $150 in spending for the month of February, but like we said it is valid for all versions of the freedom, so I activated it for both the Chase freedom and the freedom flex. Thus I will get 5% back on $300 worth of spending. Mrs Credit Shifu has the Freedom Unlimited and the freedom, so I will get her to activate both and boom we are up to $600 in spending. I guess I’ll have to stock up on gas, and I did just get these gas cans for free from home depot dot com using the Amex Platinum $50 home depot credit.

The home depot credit is an amex offer you you have to activate and it gives you $50 back for spending $50 at home depot dot come, online only, and you can use it twice!
