Truly is the no brainer! Especially vs the apple card when you can get even more off a discounted price!

I just got my prime card last month when the sign up bonus was $200. Honestly as someone starting out in credit the prime card is really nice in general. The travel benefits, 2% on gas and dining are really nice perks. Obviously the main appeal is the 5% on Amazon.

Make sure you pay your balance in full every month otherwise every purchase you make starts accruing interest on the purchase day offsetting the 5% cash back.

Also 5% back at whole foods! – Maybe keep it in the wallet rather than sock drawer if you plan on spending at whole foods.

Also I find it to be useful for big purchases such as Apple Devices. You can get 5% back versus the 3% back at Apple with Apple Card.

That's why that card is one of my most beneficial card.
And I hope it keeps that way or updates if possible.

Also, if you decide to cancel your Prime membership you still get 3% back. Completely a no brainer!

Or, for those without prime, Citi Custom Cash gives you 5% back at grocery stores (up to $500 spent each month). Just buy yourself some gift cards and apply them to your account.

But I know I'm an anomaly not having prime πŸ˜‚

It’s also great at Whole Foods. It gives you member only discounts and gives you 5% back on groceries all year.

"Isn't everyone?"
Me: No… No, not everyone. I canceled my membership when I noticed I was simply looking to buy anything AND because I was often able to find the item cheaper elsewhere. No 2-day shipping? Not a big deal, 90% of the time I don't need it anyway.

Short of that, love the channel! Always good content.

Amazon raises prices 15% on everything and give you 5% to make you feel like your saving. I find most things cheaper in store!
