Do you know if the free night rewards carry over year to year? Like how work vacation days do?

Great video, but that part where nobody was using masks in 2020 gave me anxiety.

Still debating on the Amex Brilliant. I already a Titanium Elite member so the added multiplies at Marriott properties would be nice. And the $300 credit seems far easier to use than the Hilton version. Just not sure if diversity would be better given these times. Tho rarely stay at Hilton on my own, my work sometimes puts me in a Hilton.

I want to apply for this card. Where can I find the application? Can’t find it in my Amex account.

Not sure about freelancing but aren't hotels covered for work trips? If the company does not reimburse you, it can be claimed on tax return as an unreimbursed work expense or just business expense since you are a business owner. Why waste a free hotel for work? Unless the hotel charges for the hotel but then reimburse you on the account separately while the company reimburses you for the room, it does not make sense.

Could not agree more that the Marriott Bonvoy is a great card. You only have to travel once a year for it to pay off! The room I got this year may not have had a great view but was way nice overall. The bathroom had a walk-in stone tile shower!

For a sock drawer card (we have the IHG) what is the least amount you want to use it per year to keep it active? Two times, three times, four times?

So… you paid $95. And you got a $188 room for "free"?

It sounds like you paid $95 for a $188 room to me. Not really "free".

I don't think a broke homeless person that doesn't have $95 could successfully afford to buy your "free" room, even though he can afford to do literally everything else that is "free".

Always great to rack up travel points to allow you to travel for free! With the pandemic it's been an interesting time to be travel hacking, but certainly still great advice!

Loved your videos. Thought you’re a caring person, or at leave would follow the COVID guidelines. Guess I was wrong. Maybe you should stick to credit cards and care more about your social image.

Coming out in that manner as a big YouTuber, good luck. YT is not kind to anyone with dissenting opinions and I hope they do not harm your channel in any way for that. Takes courage, that's for sure, and I bet their are a lot of other big YouTubers who hold similar viewpoints but simply say nothing or of fear. I'm with you
