Great topic. More like these please.
Great information, the points game can be a bit confusing.
Great Video, Pack with info. Keep it coming. Thanks for the hard work. Share the video people.
I always fly southwest because of the no change ,cancellation fees and 2 free checked bags. I have learned that Southwest’s sweet spot is you have to be willing to book far in advance to get the best value for your points. Usually 3-6 months in advance or especially as soon as SW releases their flight schedule. I just booked round trip from Austin to Boston in March 2020 for 11,400 points.
We liked this one Dustin. So, Iberia Avios is different from British Airways Avios? There is also a third one but I can't remember it. I found a web special from PHX to MCI for 3 tickets for 15,000 AA miles. I booked it figuring I wouldn't find anything better than that. And hopefully Hawaiian Airlines still has the low fare special after I meet the minimum spend requirement for the 60,000 Hawaiian miles. Because HNL to PHX is 17,500 per person. I think that's a good deal? But, I'll have to look at the cash price and I also have about 115,000 Membership Rewards points in my back pocket. Thanks for putting this video out there Dustin, it really does help us out a lot. Happy travels!
This will be a very unpopular opinion, but the best way to travel the USA for cheap is through Spirit's $9 Fare Club. Out of my past 6 flights, I've paid $25 or less on 5 of them and about to book another for under $25. Sure you have to pay for bags, but even then you can still get a one-way for around $50 and you might be surprised with how much you can fit into a backpack to take as a free personal item. It's definitely a cheap way to explore a new city or catch up with family and friends.
Love that Aeroplan tip with stopover. I knew it, but forgot about it. One huge add. United Parter awards like using Aeroplan Miles or LifeMiles. If your flying parter has status (silver, Gold ect) you add their United account. You then get all the United benefits. Upgrades, checked bags, priority boarding and lounge access.
Great video as always.
I’ve redeemed Delta and Alaska miles directly with those carriers in the past. But, using the information from this video coupled with my new CSR, I should be able to get more creative and use less points. Thank you!
Awesome video. Lot of knowledge dropped about domestic travel I wasn’t aware of
Hi Dustin. Was wondering if you could help me out. I have a trip for 4 people to Maui (OGG) June 23 -28 leaving from Detroit (DTW). I am trying to figure out the best way to get there. I currently have 65K Hawaii airline miles, 75K Delta airline miles and 265K membership reward points. Help!
This is just what I needed! Thanks for the content!
I never understood why you have less than 5K subscribers, by your videos looks like you put a lot of love and time into it, plus you have so many videos and even a baby! Wishing you best of luck!
Great info, thanks!
