Hey Sebby, I have a bunch of Amex cards, including the Gold card. When I log into my Amex account, I’m able to request an upgrade to Platinum but it doesn’t mention any welcome bonus (not even the standard 60k public bonus). If I wanted to get a bonus on the Plat, would I just apply while not logged in instead of upgrading if I wanted to keep my Gold card?

I was planning on picking up the Ink Unlimited in a few months, but that MS has currently priced me out, and is a far worse ROS compared to the previous offer. It is only relevant for businesses who are in 2nd or 3rd gear. No worries; Chase will return to equilibrium in due time.

Hey Sebby, I had a Amex Blue cash preferred and got a signup bonus, but downgraded to blue cash everyday after 1 year. I recently saw an offer on the Amex app to “upgrade” my BCE back to a BCP, and receive a $150 statement credit after $1000 in spend. I didn’t notice any language in the fine print saying this offer was limited to new BCP cardholders. If I applied for the upgrade, would I be at risk for an audit/shutdown?
