Chase has a new partnership with Peloton to offer Chase Sapphire Preferred and Sapphire Reserve card holders credits on their Peloton membership, but is it a good benefit? The JetBlue Plus credit card offers the largest bonus we’ve seen on this airline credit card. And a great offer to earn a Hyatt free night certificate on the legacy Hyatt credit card.

I love how Amex is giving more benefits for FOOD and Chase is trying to get us to work out more… However I wish the fitness credit was more broad 😔😤🔥
Second!!
Yay ,,!!
This isn’t where I parked my car
I got an email this morning for 5x on Amazon purchases and 3x grocery on the World of Hyatt card, through Dec 31 up to $1500.
For Peloton offer: IMO better to offer some offer like this than nothing at all. Will use myself as digital membership (trialed previously and just 2 expensive for me in way I used it when $13 a month) to me would be worth it when it's less than $5 a month with CSR. Not a benefit I love but also not one I hate. Something better than nothing
Dustin, get used to these niche “benefit” being added to premium cards. Similar to AMEX getting rid of the airline credit, issuers are finding retailers (Uber, Saks, Doordash, Peleton) who are willing to provide these “benefits” for free or reduced cost to the issuer.
On another note, I may consider signing up for a digital subscription to Peleton using my wife’s CSP. Peleton may be doing this to help combat the pending Apple Fitness plus.
I think this Chase/Peloton move make sense for Peloton. Considering Peloton announced a partnership with Apple watch to work with Peloton hardware. Then 2min later Apple said, Hey we also have our own fitness service coming soon. Allows Chase to say they offered cardholders something, while Peloton gets access the Chase user base… All that to say I agree, it's too niche for most of us so Chase you still owe us that Sapphire refresh!
Should mention that Barclays is also offering the 100k miles offer on its business version of the JetBlue card, which doesn’t get reported to personal credit bureaus.
Sure hope the new World of Hyatt credit card gets the same Cat. 1-4 cert. offer. I’d be all over that 😮 For now I’ve got the “Earn 5X @ Amazon + 3X @ supermarkets offer.” Still a decent offer considering opportunities to earn Hyatt points are always welcome 😁💯
The Peloton credit sucks since it's only a niche group of people who can/will take advantage of it. Wish it was something more people would use, which is why I'm not bothered by the Doordash and Lyft stuff since way more people can use it.
But, even better would be Chase adding some new permanent earning categories… 👀 They buffed the Freedom cards, so why haven't they done the same with the Sapphire cards?
Maybe Hyatt/Chase is considering ending the legacy card and so they are using this offer to measure engagement. Can they re-engage consumers to use the card again? If it remains a sock drawer card for people… I bet it's gonna disappear.
We need credit cards that will allow to earn crypto, debit cards like that already exist
Thanks, as always! I like how you put the percentage back amount the different rewards provide
Wish I could get use that JetBlue card! Delta is the only big airline where I live.
Jetblue sign-up bonus is great. It is just a bad year to fly. If someone willing to wait until summer of 2021 fly, it's a great deal.
Agree with your thoughts…Jetblue plus offer= Great, Hyatt offer= Great, but just know the not so good news is around the corner about your conversion, Chase Sapphire offer= Meh. Cheers!
jet blue offer is great
I have the newer Hyatt card and got an offer this morning for 5x on amazon and 3x on grocery until the end of the year. Not a terrible offer I will take advantage of.
I appreciated the cost/spend return rate breakdown. Your clarity is always so useful! Great video!
Peloton credit is trash.
I think this niche is great for those who have Peloton, like myself. Let's remember that Amex has a partnership with equinox as well. It's all about those who spend money to workout at home that they are trying to target. Love it or hate it, it is what it is.
Catzilla…haha
Damn lol. It’s like everyday there’s new benefits coming.
The Peleton "benefit" is almost certainly being paid for by Peleton, which is why it's limited to Peleton.
Argh. I'm at 4/24 and want the Chase Hyatt cc'd and the Barclays JetBlue Plus card. Last card was received in Jan but have many hard pulls on my credit report as I refinanced my home. Trying to decide between getting Hyatt now, and JetBlue in December, or just pass on the Hyatt and get the JetBlue. What do you all think?
Off topic, but have seen seen the recent devaluation of Delta? They're requiring more points with partner airlines, and at some point in the past, seemed to have devalued their own currency direct. I'm going to have to start valuing Delta miles at 1 cpp, which has me 2nd guessing spend on the Delta Bus Platinum (even at 1.5X).
That Jetblue offer will probably be followed by a significant devaluation as well… OOPS!
That jetblue offer 🔥 the Peleton** offer 💩 take care man and keep the family safe!
I never heard of them until YouTubers started taking about this "benefit"
Is it worth keeping your emergency cash stashed in a Bask Bank savings account to earn AAdvantage Miles every year?
I totally agree about the Peloton offer.
Just had to get the JetBlue card. I need to stay off YouTube
for the jetblue plus business, if the employee has an AU card, does the free checked in baggage apply to him as well or does it only apply to the primary cardholder? thanks
