🔋I like having some Platinum benefits behind the $75k paywall. Higher hotel statuses would be nice.
🔋 I want a non-travel bonused "Amex Gold". One reason I've avoided the Amex Gold/Platinum is the bonuses do very little for me, a suburban dad who gets one or two big trips a year. A supermarket + gas + online shopping at 3/4x points would be my "use most of the time" card, especially if it had dining too. Also I'm curious how Walmart and Costco online purchases would qualify (or not). If I could combine that card with Platinum (for travel purchases), I couldn't imagine needing much else, and Amex would have me on the hook for ~$950/yr in AFs I'd happily pay.
Speaking of the Gold card, it seems AMEX's gold card page is currently offline? I can't find it on their website, and links from search engines go to an error page. 🤔

🔋Hi Sebby. I’ve been using Anker chargers for several years now and they work really well. I have BCP and it’s good with 6% on groceries and streaming and 3% on gas. It would be nice if they added new categories.
Actually really like the everyday card changes. I already had this card from years ago and it just has been sitting in my wallet not being used but now it’s my dedicated online shopping card.

I was the LGA Centurion Lounge and had a conversation about the $75K Spend requirement for the two guests coming up in 2023 for the Platinum card. She said " That's nothing". Without rent expenses, I've been trying to figure out how people casually spend that much on one card without hoarding items in their homes.

🔋 Sorry, but Hilton Gold status is not available to AmEx Platinum cardholders due to a “technical issue,” or so AmEx has told me for the last several months. I’ve called them so many times that I’m blue in the face. I’ve tried being nice, not nice, and everything in between. AmEx is lying when they say that Hilton Gold Status is available. 🔋
